==================================================

Hey guys. Just so you know, I am helping volunteer to make this great opportunity available to the Delaware, New Jersery and Pennsylvania community. Cyborg One has been around for over a decade and is now expanding it horizons with great games provided by Capcom. I highly encourage you come to this, as myself, Owner of Cyborg James and Co-worker Brian are all working very hard to bring this to the commonwealth of Street Fighter. If enough people come, we will be setting up monthly tournaments with prizes to high winners. The door is open, guys. Don’t let it close on you.

Behavior Policy - To borrow from Dudders, everyone is expected to fight like gentlemen (or women) while at Fight Night. No trash talking will be tolerated. Profanity is also not tolerated. Cyborg One is trying to bring pop culture items like SF to the masses; any disrespectful behavior prevents us from doing such in an effective manner. Friendly gestures and jabs are kosher as well as a little bit of competitive atmosphere, but insults and bullying will not be allowed. Basically, we at Cyborg trust you to use your own judgment of what is acceptable and not. If you have any specific questions E-mail us and we will describe in full what is acceptable and not.

Update - Did somebody say TOURNAMENTS!? That’s right, we got em.

Hi Iapetus, I live nearby and am very interested in coming down to play Street Fighter III Third Strike. I was wondering if you could tell me…

  1. What system is it played on?
  2. What kind of seating/space is there in the store; is it standing room only, or is there room to accomodate people that use arcade sticks?

Thanks!

yeah what is up with marvel, dc version? can i bring a mas? will anyone worth playing even be there?

I emailed the people at Cyborg One with my questions. Here are the responses:

  1. 3s will be played on PS2, (the DC version will also be available).
  2. There will be 4 games running at once; the tvs will be on tables with chairs, so there will be room for sticks.

Everything sounds good to me. I might actually get to play some people for a change! :looney:

d’oh why is it on mondays cuz i work

maybe i’ll take one off and come destroy in marvel.

Hey guys, Thanks a lot for coming. We had a great turn out and we hope to continue having enjoyable gaming sessions. Anyone and everyone is invited and we encourage everyone to bring their friends.

See you all next Monday!

so nobody ever answered if it’s on DC and if i can bring a MAS.

Sorry for not answering your question. :frowning: We have Dreamcasts and if you have a MAS arcade stick we have enough space for it to rest on the tables provided. You may want to bring your own VMU because we only have one VMU with most of the characters on it.

Here is footage of last nights premier session! I apologize in advance for the crummy video quality and jerky camera work (All my doing :frowning: ).

Hope to see you next Monday!

Sorry in advance for double posting.

Thanks yet again to everyone that came! A smaller turn out than the premier event, but still good. I hope to see you all come again next Monday (Memorial Day).

If these weren’t held on Monday’s I’d come out for sure.

This is really late, but I might as well hype it up.

Last Fight Night was pretty amazing. We popped TMNT TF into Brian’s SNES, and it stole the spotlight for the night. It was priceless. Expect more TF goodness next time.

Also, there were some intense 3s matches with a lot of people moving up the rankings. The night ended with a battle royal against store owner James and myself. James showed some renewing skill in the art of Dudley and Urien, pulling off a few death-taunts to further my anguish. It was a night to remember and I can’t wait to see you all next week. If you are coming, hype us so we can get more players to come and school us.

Iapetus

Sounds hype! Doylestown is 2~ hrs away, but hope I can make it down one of these days.

Man, it’s a shame i work till 2 am on mondays or else i’d bring some serious pain.

Anychance you guys would be open on July 4th for a fight day and night?

I can’t promise anything, but anything is a possibility.

For those who want t change the date for convenience, I recommend biting your teeth and coming a few times to show the store owner James you really want to come. If he does, then he will certainly be open for changing the day to a weekend or something.

well I can’t do that. I live 200+ miles away =) I was just wondering if you’re open on a holiday.

Do these still happen? I got lost once, and ended up in doylestown, so I know it’s not too far from where I’m at. I might be able to come through for some 3s/marvel action.

Yo, man. Doylestown is like right where I live. How did you get lost and end up there? haha

I’ll have to check one of these out some time.

That was fun. I need to come back sometime (and get some wins in 3S).

Yep, these events are still going strong. We are having a small growth in attendance every week, so we have no plans of stopping.

Right now, we have a 3s and SF2 showing up pretty regularly. I am an A2 buff so I enjoy playing that now and again. We are open to playing any game, so come on over and show us your stuff. Free admission - just bring dough for food. We usually order from Jule’s Pizza across the street, so Five bucks will give you dibs on pizza. There are also snacks and soda available at the store.
