How cool are they?
Now I know people are going to talk about how you don’t need double uppercuts to do damage, and how there are easier ways to do the same or similar or even better damage off an EX MGB or once you launched them with c. HK, but double uppercuts can’t be beat for style points in my book.
So I’m trying to list all the possible double uppercuts I know of that are fairly doable in a match – flashy, but doable. NOte obviously you can only do double-uppercuts in the corner, so all these are corner combos. And by uppercut I mean dragon punch motion and then punch, not Dudley’s sissy ducking uppercut (HCF+K, then K). We’re talking the real thing. Hitting your opponent. Not once, but TWICE. DOUBLE. Yea, dawg!
For Q:
1.) c. HK or EX MGB, wait a sec, HP uppercut, juggle with s. MP --> HP uppercut or toward-MK --> HP uppercut
This is pretty hard for me to do, just not used to the timing yet. You can also cancel the second uppercut into super for extra damage if you feel horny. Or, I suppose, if it will KO the asshole you’re juggling. Either or.
2.) c. HK or EX MGB, EX uppercut, toward-MK --> HP uppercut (optional cancel into super, but you must do it early or it wont hit)
This is much easier for me, but you waste more meter needlessly. Also less damage, I believe. But it’s easy! And still, two uppercuts are cool!
3.) c. HK or EX MGB, you can simply uppercut Q twice, though the second will only hit partially for insignificant damage unless it’s part of the setups above.
For Makoto or Urien:
1.) c. HK (never tried it off an EX MGB, maybe I will when I get my new stick), wait a sec, EX uppercut, toward-MK --> HP uppercut
Pretty easy double-uppercut combo, you can xx super for very nice damage. Uses lots of meter, of course. But mad style pointz.
For Shotos:
1.) c. HK or EX MGB, jab MGB, EX uppercut, immediate HP uppercut
Also very easy to do, good damage, sweet stun. I always end EX MGB combos vs. shotos in a corner this way, unless I have no meter or something else will kill him (a canceled super or repeated jab MGBs before finishing uppercut).
For Chun-Li:
Now I hate this bitch. For this bitch, I reserve a very special four-uppercut combo that’s absurdly flashy and not one you should try in a real match unless you practice this combo a lot and get the timing perfect. You also need SA I (Rocket Upper) to perform all four uppercuts.
1.) c. HK, EX uppercut, late toward-MK --> HP uppercut xx SA I, then juggle her twice as she comes down, first with EX uppercut then HP uppercut.
The timing required is very strict. You must first connect with the EX uppercut after a slightly delay, then the toward-MK must hit her slightly high, so when you cancel into SA I, the super whiffs and bounces her up a few times. There isn’t any real way for me to precisely delineate the timing – you are simply going to have to develop the proverbial “feel” for it if you really want to replicate the combo. Note that if your timing is slightly off on the cancel into SA I, Chun Li will bounce behind Dudley, meaning you can only uppercut her once (it will be the third uppercut, not counting her getting hit by the tips of SA I), and you must reverse direction to do so.
If you do this right, you will have inflicted a total of four jet uppercuts (first an EX uppercut, then HP uppercut xx SA I, then a second EX uppercut, then a second HP uppercut) on Chun-fucking-Li. Thats beast.
I know, I know, I’m advertising flash over substance. But so what. Half of Dudley’s fun lies in his form, which might be disciplined, but it’s the stylishness of their appearance that you notice.
Flame me! It turns me on!

Fixed typo.
