What about my plethora of towards Forwards? haha, I blame those on my shoddy Dpad not registering :db: worth a damn.
I celebrated a bit early by blowing that second super though, should have just finished with Hayate… But doing the near universal, dance of video game crouching with you was fun.
It may have had a slight chance to be on it had these videos not been in 240p. No biggie though, everyone that wanted/needed to know this, should know by now.
Maybe if we got Maximilian to dress up as Yun while doing a sketch and get that 6/10 girl to dress up as Chun for fan-service, we could sneak some of the coolest 3S info I’ve ever seen in there.
Wow… I honestly don’t know what to say to that, I’ve seen a couple matches where Tominaga had an opportunity to land it but didn’t take it. I guess that explains why…
Seriously, I hope one of you can somehow translate the information to him, if not, I guess I can try to start a tutorial video using MAME, that way the recording might be able to show the combo in slow mo, but I doubt that would help unless I had that input display you see on other 3S vids.
I really don’t understand though, I’ve landed this thousands of times now… It is way easier than the double Fuki on Ibuki/Oro = /
Karakusa->Instant Fierce->SA2… Short for when you’re in the corner, and Forward when you’re anywhere else… that works for me consistently… Though when I’m on the right I tend to delay the Fierce to use RH Super.
I added input display on the new version of my site, i think it would be a good way to easily show inputs and positionning.
Problem is, even though I have absolutely no doubt it does work on all versions, so far, i’m not able to retranscript it with a macro on fba-rr.
Could you record yourself (inputs recording, not video) doing double fukiage combo using fba-rr?
Full Karakusa combo, P1 makoto on left side should be ok.
Download fba-rr, then launch game, and in menu, Game -> Movie -> Start recording (untick ‘record from power-on’) -> ok, then do your combo, and then stop recording in the same menu. When done, click on the ‘…’ little button and send me the fbm file.
You need to prepare (charge SA bar) before, and then to record a save state, so you can try as many time as you want.
I think i understood what happened. Since beginning i knew that, for some move, emulator will not display some of the active hitboxes (collision detection itself is still ok, see Gouki f+mp on hit for example, 2nd hit) but i thought it was happening during all the frames of the action, but watching jab Fukiage on whiff and on hit, bottom active hitbox present on whiff is not more displayed on hit (which hit on first possible active frame).
What happens in telesniper combo is that the first active frame (428) hitboxes are fully displayed (not hitting), then second active frame (429) hits Chun but due to the bug, bottom hitbox (the one actually hitting) is not displayed. If you mentally draw prev frame full hitboxes, you’ll meet Chun’s passive ones.
