Tournament should have been 360. :bluu: I distinctly remember reading that the game runs faster on 360…it’s probably bullshit, but it’s bullshit I choose to believe because it’s convenient for me.

Same here. It seems like the vast majority of players attending this tournament are on 360…just saying…

While I prefer PS3, the tournament standard outside of the actual Evolution tournaments (who are sponsored by Sony) is for 360’s.
Owner decided because he had easy access to 4 PS3s, only 2-3 360s, and you guys didn’t want mix … You guys also gotta remember this the comic book shop’s first time. I asked them if it would be possible for you guys to bring 360s but they want to have as much control as possible for their first time. If their is enough demand in this turnout then the next one will be 360s but it’s about current resources and inexperience. 2 PS3s are coming from the 3 co-owners and 2 are coming from Fadi and I because they trust us and we trust them with the consoles. Like I said if you want 360s then come and voice your opinion, again I repeat the plan is to use all of the collected venue fee to buy another screen and/or console, they are not planning on making any real money yet.

don’t listen to nagata lock, there are not tournament standards. Just stick with one console and you’re good to go.
If you have 360’s, u restrict the tourny to only stick players. There is no point to choose 360 over ps3 when all players can use it compared to that waste of a controller on 360. The ratio for players who dont have sticks for ps3 or 360 is even, but to force that pad on players such as myself will push us to participate elsewhere.
Update: I am preparing a survey that will be given out to all participants on Saturday ranging from topics like 360, PS3, or PC to interest on ranbats and how often a tourney should take place etc.

I think his point was that for those who don’t use sticks, the X360 pad is utterly garbage. I know. I’ve tried using it and it doesn’t quite work as well as the PS3 SixAxis/DS3.
Not everyone has both PS3/360 sticks (not when they’re like $200CDN a pop), nor will everyone dual mod their sticks (I did though… lol).
Put the survey up online too somewhere. That way the people who want to come but can’t (i.e. me), can also have a say for the future events.
