The game everyone has been waiting for now has a release date and price. Yes, Double Dragon: Neon, the downloadable retro throwback for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will be releasing on September 11 and 12 for $9.99 or 800 MSP respectively.
If ps+ gets it for less, I’ll try it. If I get a significantly high enough amount of cash by then, I’ll try anyways. IMO, they coulda done better on the graphics for this amount of wait, but I’ll let the gameplay determine if it’s good or bad.
Tell me your playing this online. Think about it. It’s like 2 player online boxer gannon with -dragons-. We have to team up. Dead serious about this too.
He used the power of his mullet. There’s two mullets in this game. Everyone else is doomed.
Music and animations sound and look great. But that’s it. Those backgrounds are god awful. I mean it screams “We didn’t give the artist enough time to do better” all over it. 25% of the beat em up experience is the awesome backgrounds.
Bump for the release date being in a matter of hours on psn today!
Also got a email from Jake too. There WILL be a soundtrack up on bandcamp it seems as well!
“(Oh, and lastly, soundtrack album CONFIRMED for tomorrow night, check virt.bandcamp.com late in the evening, maybe around midnight EST / 9pm PST, we’re streaming it live at an “online listening party” on areciboradio.com earlier in the evening, and then releasing it right after! Tubular!!)”
Copied and pasted from the email he sent me.
Specs seriously I need your psn info or live info so we can team up like I said.
