I think MoM might work on CK. It accelerates his farm (he can hit jungle once he gets morbid mask) and helps in ganks (since you are hitting someone disabled for 2-4 seconds, and the lifesteal means you only need to worry about mana), without costing too much and setting him back in terms of sunk gold. But I dunno.
Even with MoM, his jungleability is butts. Just doesn’t have the damage and/or armor to make it work.

It’s pretty interesting to see the rise and fall of certain heroes trending due to nerfs/buffs. Haha.
Popping in to see if anyone here still actively plays. I just got into playing the game regularly, and I just barely accumulated 100 hours, so I’m still pretty much a scrub. I’ve been sorta trying heroes out in my off time, but nobody seems to really click. Any suggestions?
I still play. Usually play once a day with friends. What heroes to play really depends on what kind of play style you want. Every hero fulfills a role and have their own strengths and weaknesses (carrying the team with right click damage, ganking, pushing, crowd control, etc.). Sticking to an easy hero you might like while learning the basics is what you should be doing. Worry less about your heroes and more about learning the game’s mechanics.

any of you guys still play Dota 1? I tried Dota 2 like a year ago, didn’t get use to it (didn’t try too much tho). Anyways, hit me up if you wanna play Dota 1 sometime
nailed it. Ive seen the new line up for EG and C9, but i havent seen Secret yet. EG needs alot of work together, and C9 is ok so far but not really insync, with Misery and N0tail doing their own thing.
Pretty excited to see what this secret team can do.
There aren’t any Secret games coming up so maybe Arteezy and Zai are still under contract and can’t publicly play with Secret yet? Not sure why Secret has played recently.
DotA 2 plays almost exactly like DotA 1. Any difference is pretty much minute engine mechanics or very small bugs.
^ thought there were some item differences/nerfs/buffs as well.
The updates in DotA 2 usually run in parity with the DotA 1 updates. I think DotA 2 gets updated first now but the WC3 map gets updated shortly after. Other than that (and not having the full cast just yet) they are nearly identical to how they are played. The biggest difference I can think of is that heroes with bashes cannot buy a Skull Basher due to a bug with the DotA 2 engine (double bashes; solution was never found so they made it that bash heroes can’t buy Skull Basher).

The only one I’ve heard about is that Force Staff can push you over cliffs now. But I played next to no Dota 1, so cannot speak to accuracy.
Maybe, but i dont see why they cant be listed as Stand-in like Aui/misery/notail/sumail did. Other reason is that i heard that Arteezy to keep games they play publicly in tournaments leading up to TI5 to a minimal. Practice more together, and show strats when it counts, just my theory.
