Holy shit, I forgot Aghs’d Doom is a mute. Totally gonna pick him now. I don’t think I’ve played that hero more than two or three times, and he’s so basic too. If I’m decent, I should be able to win with him.
How could you not play that hero when he was top tier as fuck in 6.81 haha.
He’s pretty boring. Plus the sound his sword makes isn’t nearly as satisfying as it should be, it just annoys me eventually.

I don’t see how Troll would be a serious counter, honestly. PA has evasion and is a far stronger burst threat.

About PA:
Razor might be a good option, since his damage reducer and his Ulti go through BKB.
Bane Ulti + Enigma Ulti don´t care about BKB either.
Basically, as long as she doesn´t have a BKB, she is food to nukers and disables, so the likes of Lion, Lina or Outworld Devourer(She has very low Int gain btw) should do well against her in the early game, since they can burst her down very quickly. Omni is also good against her. Lategame requires BKB, MKB, Basher/Abyssal Blades and a fat carry on your side.
Blademails might an option against her, like Ghost Scepters.
Her blink and dagger have high range, so play a bit more careful against her.
It’s also important to note the nerf to BKB (cooldown/duration is tied to the hero now, not the item itself) means early BKB from PA can actually hurt her more than help her in some situations. Late game she will need to rely even more on her team to keep disables off of her so she can do damage, or she’ll be susceptible to CC and possibly die to the other enemy carry/cores. BKB is such a double edged sword now.
Troll can 1v1 PA and beat her terribly provided the gold is even, at least that’s been my observation. If she’s BKB’d, Bash goes through it, and if she’s not, Melee whirling axes blind is pretty good.

I am not sure, if he says this, but keep in mind that Doom´s Ultimate no longer mutes passive abilities without Aghs Scepter. Maybe he is talking about Abbadon´s ulti:" An Aghanim’s Scepter upgraded Doom ability prevents Borrowed Time from passively activating when reaching the threshold."

Doom only counters everyone, if he initates on them first, before his opponents intiate on him and finish him off.

Doom is still a solid hero, but it’s not like he’s a top tier pick anymore.
If @Zatalcon is implying Abaddon counters Doom, I’m not really sure why. Abaddon’s biggest strength in team fights is using Mist Coil and Aphotic Shield to keep people alive. If Abaddon gets Doomed, he becomes a useless pick.
I have no clue. My only guess is that her Ult hurts and then he could be right clicked down after burst since his armor is shit. Still doesn’t make much sense since Lina can burst down most heroes anyways. That shit is also mad outdated since Doom no longer counters Phantom Assassin. lol
Level 11 Lina vs. Level 11 Doom will favor Lina 100% of the time. Burst is burst and fiery spirit will fuck him up cuz he has no armor.
Too bad Lina is a garbo hero.
