Don’t turn it off if you took a lot of damage in a fight, are near death and running away from the enemy. You’ll be at death’s door and a simple autoattack might kill you.
He may be asking how to avoid last hits with it or something. If a lone hero is chasing you down but can only kill you with auto attacks, you can avoid dying when you are really low by toggling Armlet on and off. For example, if a ranged attack is coming at you and you’re at 1 HP with Armlet active, you can turn it off and turn it back on again to get a considerable HP boost, allowing you to survive the attack.
On an unrelated note, Pugna is a fucking terrible hero… but only in a pub can you go 11-4-23 with him without even trying to KS. Decrep Dagon is pretty funny and scary though. lol
Seriously, fuck Pugna. In what world would Valve think a character that squishy should have not one, not two, but three skills that basically require you to get right in the face of enemies?
Game 1: Random person on your team picks new hero, has no idea how it works, gets raped in lane, you lose.
Game 2: Person on the other team picks new hero, your teammates have no idea how the hero works, they get raped in lane, you lose.
Bristleback is hot garbage in the first stages of the game, since he’s a mid to late game carry. He does NO damage, he has no reliable mana to sustain his harass, his shield isn’t enough to fully protect him and still leaves him susceptible to stuns/ganks. Gank him early and gank him hard then he’s GG, he doesn’t scale well at all without getting his items, so you don’t need to worry about him steamrolling back after a few ganks.
Seriously, I’ll never understand how people don’t have it click in their brain that ‘wait, he needs farm to be relevant… okay, I’ll let him freefarm for 20 minutes then bitch when he’s tanking 80,000 damage and keeping us perma-slowed’
