Wow. In that vid they were completely stuck just like in Dota 1. There is no escape! Why didn’t they change that and let heroes walk down cliffs if stuck in? Keeping it like the original?
If you pick a support hero and you’re not going to buy courier for some reason, please at least tell your team. Thx

Had my first legitimate BR experience. For some reason I thought I’d be safe queuing in US West/East only on Dota 2.

Try a player v bot match (or a few) to get a feel. That’s what I did, and it helped me transition from LoL to this pretty well.

Somewhere on the page it will talk about a survey you can take to get a beta key
After the survey, I got it in my email after a few days.
Some people are not as lucky though.
Other than that there are sites that offer beta keys.
playdota.com throws out a bunch of them each day.
I’m allready doing that, Just a lot of work learning all the heroes once again.

Blizzard Dota is comming, so what does that mean for the Dota/LoL community? What’s the player base leaning towards? I want to know so I can hop on to what’s hot.
Honestly? It means absolutely nothing Imo.
Blizzard’s Dota will probably either be it’s own thing, in which case it’ll probably draw League players more than anything (Blizzard likes to make money, and easy makes money). If it plays out like a replication like Dota 2 is, then Dota 2 will be in danger.
League players will always be League players, though, so they’re pretty safe from having players stolen. The game doesn’t take much effort, which is why most people like it, but getting into Dota 2 or HoN is really difficult, so they will never leave to those.
