Still don’t see that. Anytime you survive an encounter it’s being used. Every last hit, every time you ult every auto attack, just because you aren’t using the ultimate upgrade with it doesn’t mean it isn’t being used.
Scepter is really good on a lot of people.
Doesn’t mean I’m gonna grab it on Faceless any time soon
Actually scepter is a good item on faceless… not so much for the 1s added time but the cooldown for the ult. I wouldnt rush it or pick it up quickly though lol.
Funny you write this as i played jugg last night and just wrecked house. Just leveled Q and W with W maxed first and the other team cant stop the push for shit. Also survived a lot of shit that the team probably wouldnt have thanks to the ward. After I was farmed up (8-0-xx at one point, then got greedy of course) I went sraight to scepter for the stats and the ult also just becomes rediculous. I started my S&Y but then… game crash
After that the game crashed and i couldnt reconnect because of a bug, but still got micro’d to victory. for somereason i could still spectate the game though lolol.
It’s 4200g. That is a lot of money. For 4200g, as the most basic example, you can get HotD+Yasha (actually that’s just 4000g) for more damage, more movespeed, more survivability, it’s easier to build, you get earlier benefits and both of those Items are even upgradeable still (while Aghas stays Aghas) for more lategame prowess.
A big part of Aghas usefulness is the Ult upgrade, and for someone that can’t really use that (and Jugg can’t), it’s just not worth it.
Yes it’s nifty, and it definitely looks cool and fancy, and sometimes it gives you wowzor times, but when compared to actually useful items, it just doesn’t make the cut.
P.S. If you really really want to get it, at least get your Battlefury before you do so, because a late Battlefury is fairly useless while an early one speeds up all further Items by a sizeable amount.
Queen of Pain FTW
Just got my invite.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Valve must have just sent out a whole batch of new invites, a lot of people I know got invites yesterday.
Juggernaut isn’t a good carry but he’s a good pusher with an enchantress or a chen. Healing ward is stupidly good. If your team has any kind of pushing power, go for spin + heal and get the soul ring early. If it’s a random pub where you can’t expect any kind of teamwork just get spin + stats.
no inv yet /wrists
Every single time I’ve tried to play furion I have the absolute worst team. Pudge that is just . . . No words for that. Am who gets vanguard, bkb and vlads and calls SB bad because he got pipe after his damage items against Lina and lich and an invoker who isn’t doing anything productive.
Woe is me.
So what I’m hearing is, you didn’t carry hard enough. :razzy:
Vanguard-BKB-Vlads AM is pretty manly. I’d throw a Linkens on top of that.
It was tough man, everytime I was like ‘hey I’ll help this team fight’ I ended up dying and my team with full hp and mana didn’t help. I had scepter and deso. Just a bad game.
As more keys are coming out, more scrubs are hopping on… this past week has been a nightmare of randoms.
Well assuming it’s the same game, if you got AM, SB, Pudge and Furion as your line up, it’s really not surprising when you lose. That’s an ass line up.
I think all people can ask for of the new players to do is to get the right items and listen to the team’s suggestion. Even if they lose their lane, the least they could do is go for the right item/skill build and just cast their skills during team fights.
Yeah, it was overall just bad, anti Mage didn’t have any damage or listen to anyone, no team work at all, just bad news all around.
I would be frustrated with it (or was frustrated) if I could actually have a good game as furion, every single game has been just a series of unfortunate events.
I’m not a fan of getting sceptor on Prophet mainly because I think your ult should be used for stopping tower pushes mainly. A lot of pub prophets usually just spam their ult every time 60 seconds for the gold but you gotta remember that it’s CS that you’re taking away from your team mates.
Any wayyy, how do you get more invites once you’re in the beta? Do you just be active?
You just need to wait. At infrequent intervals, everyone with a BetaAcc gets 1-2 new keys.
Anyone know how matchmaking works? Read somewhere that it is designed to keep players at around 50% win rate.
anyone wanna play today?
