GGs tonight. It seems that I’ve been playing a lot support lately, but it’s cool, it’s a role I enjoy.
Just played an hour 17 minute pub where the enemy team got mega creeps on us while they still had all 3 rax up, and we still won. We made one final push and it turned into a throne race and we won it by like 200 or so hp. Crazy intense and a lot of fun. It actually wouldn’t have been that close if I didn’t keep disconnecting…

Im sure they will port over all heroes as they will be selling skins to make dat continous $$$. I wonder what else they will try to sell though, hopefully heroes stay free.

Its crazy how many keys are out there yet so many people need them, mostly because people are selling them instead of giving away. (brag inc) Ive given away 2 keys and an account and still have another account left. I might loan out the extra account.

I went like 10-2 with PL yesterday… I suck with pl, haha, just been doing a good job of not dyin for no reason
—Is heart with PL good? Team told me to buy but I thought it was a waste at the end
they wouldn’t answer me if my images feed of radiance like specs’ do. that or bfly is always awesome
maybe radiance and Burzo(lol) … Had manta and diff too… other teammate had vlads
Radiance is pretty damn good on PL if you can farm it fast because unless they patched it recently, his illusions cast the damage aura. (They don’t, however get any of the + Damage) If you’re not getting good farm though, Radiance can be tough to get before the 25-28 minute mark, where it would be the most effective. With PL being fairly difficult to gank though, an early Radiance shouldn’t be TOO tough.
A lot of times when I’m messin around with PL I like to get mana burn first then just stack attack speed for lulz. The more he and his illusions attack = more chances for more illusions + more mana burn. A fun build is treads - diffusal - manta - butterfly - assault, then whatever luxury last item you want. Heart, radiance, buriza, w/e. Just remember that while PL’s illusions don’t get any extra damage from + damage items, they DO get extra damage from + Agility items. And MKB, while triggering the ministun effect, will not actually ministun anything for them. Vlad’s does nothing for them, it’ll LOOK like they’re lifestealing, but they’re not. If you want another damage item go for buriza, cuz illusions can crit. You can even just go for a second butterfly if your farm is good enough, but by then you should have won already.

Basically like he said. Radiance is good on pretty much any carry hero if you can get it farmed early enough. Diffusal and Manta on PL is pretty core though. Heart is definitely not a bad buy after you’ve got both of those because PL can use the survivability late game if they’re starting to buy a gem/ward more regularly. I sometimes like to go Crystalys to Burriza on him since illusions can crit as well.

What a nice guy, must be the only guy in this thread who’s actually given out a key to another SRK member.
Pretty sure most of us didn’t even have extra keys to give out. 
so i have been reading and playing ai to get a feel of the game but still a lot i need to learn or dont get. would it be good to start out going into pub games.
Matchmaking is pretty kind to new players. I’ve only run into one or two people that had me baffled as to why my team and I got matched with them (and then got raped)
Everybody in Dota 2 seems to be a lot nicer, too. I say go for it.

The people that dont have keys probably arent trying hard enough considering this is my 7th key/account. I could be selling them for bank though instead of giving away ;D
gotta say thanks to slogan for the key. having fun with this game. a little tough to get into at first. had no idea what the fucking items were. that and being able to buy 6 items at start was a bit different from being able to buy 1 and pots from LoL.
liking lifestealer and jariko so far. need to play more chars but ima stick with these two for now till i get a good grasp on the game.

anything to get people off dat LoL!!! I suggest going random a lot in the begin then just say “first time” and buy a chick. People are more accepting of how shitty you are when you do that and you dont get into the habit of only playing 3 chars the whole time when they are so many fun/op chars. Where as if you play with me ill just rage a lot because its what i do.

For whatever reason my friends who transitioned from LoL also wanted to jungle with everything. Don’t do that. In lower level play having a jungler is generally a bad idea because lower level players can’t solo 1v2 without going 0-10. But just as a reference:
Best Junglers:
Furion, Enigma, Lycan, Dark Seer, Enchantress, Lone Druid, Chen
Ok junglers:
Ursa, Naix, Brood, Centaur, Terrorblade, Troll Warlord, Axe
Awful Junglers:
Skeleton King, Batrider, Tidehunter, Necrolyte, Bloodseeker
Don’t deviate from this list. And if you decide to jungle with a non-carry, you have to gank. If you don’t gank you are being worthless to your team and losing the game.
Also, don’t “main” heroes. You are expected to be able to play 95% of the pool when you are proficient.
Also know that you dont have to jungle just because the hero can jungle. its still situational based on the lane matchups. ex) DS and Enchantress
and its not even just being able to play all the heroes, its knowing wtf they all do. Biggest problem a lot of people have when they try to main a char. Unless of course you are top tier with a top tier char lol.
