Hey guys! I’ve been checking that set-up for a while. Sadly I haven’t been able to get my hands on a recorder. Anyways, I’ve found that for the Flame Carpet Front Relaunch, checking out the distance between Dormammu’s head and the X-Factor’s “X” is a great indicator.

[]For light-weight characters like Amaterasu, Wolverine, etc. Dormammu’s head should be touching the X’s point as you can see in Philosophy123’s video. (Although you’re able to Flame Carpet Back Relaunch most of these characters, so doing the Front Version is a waste of time.)

As you [Karsticles] pointed out, I find it easier to set-up if I do the Aerial Combo while jumping back. I’ll land between medium-heavy’s distance. So if it’s a medium weight I tap forward, if it’s a heavy weight I tap back, and if it’s a light weight I tap forward twice.
I hope I can get a recorder so I can put all of the characters and their set-up. The only downside is that you need mad reflex skills.

Can anyone confirm for me what dormamu’s super jump confirm is? i believe this is it Sj , H fly- L , S . then jump LHS loop into relaunch. but i havent been able to land it or seen footage of it done help!
Justin wong was the first to find the flight movement after dark matter , and i was the one who found the M H after it to make it into a jump loop combo i posted it on the forums a few months ago.There are different ways to land after the M/H , but the main way is to unfly the H and then jump up again for another jump loop.
Also thats not max damage for dorm , he can do atleast 800k+ with no assist and one bar.
The sj combo i told u about on twitter is the one zak found , its sj H, fly , L , S , then jump back up like i said , but timing is tricky and unfly is recommended after the second L incase they block it and ur stuck flying in the air.
ah i see that clears it up a bit better, can dorm do better damage midscreen? could you point me to which one it is since its not this one.
the sj combo is really a pain, i can do it all fine just the jump up bit never works when i hit m they just block it or it whiffs, is it height specific or confirmed to work at any height?

Hah. I linked that second video to someone as an example of how to rock with Morrigan. Your Dormammu doesn’t really do anything in the second set of matches, which is what I watched, so it’s hard to give a lengthy critique. What I noticed most is that you tend to throw Purification and Dark Hole out where your opponent is, instead of where he’s going to be. Be conservative with your pillars and holes. It’s better to whiff one in front of your opponent than behind him.

Id say just watch out when u call H dark hole cus like it was said before it can get you killed sometimes lol. Also you missed wesker relaunch with dorm after an air throw. You can always land the relaunch just wait till ur opponents chars back hits the ground then call wesker so the gunshot doesn’t miss.
I made a quick combo video of Dorm/MODOK/Doom. I’m still not too familiar with Dorm yet, so any suggestions to improve what I have would be awesome If anyone has a better corner carry with Dorm and missiles, please let me know.

Yea…I can get it in training mode but idk, Do you know the timing for the air dash after air throw? so i dont have to use the assist so early? For me, I always try the ad after air throw and when it doesn’t come out, i just kinda settle for wesker shot. lol i used to try and wait for the tiny explosion but that isn’t working for me either.

I usually just wait till after the explosion n dorm lets go of them after the air throw then dash down, but i hold down forward through out the whole air thow animation.
At super jump height i just dash down + S
Normal jump height i just dash down + L
In a tourney or money match I can do it form sj height like 95% normal jump height like 40% so i don’t always risk doing it lol.
Couple of Mags combos at the start, but the 3rd combo is Dorm, and is just a nice way to charge your spells midcombo and use them as well, only requiring Missiles too. (Shitty black and white still until I get a new TV lol…)
