Teleporting characters will be annoying now the comfort of the flame carpet gone as a combo breaker. My guess is they remove the mvc3 flame carpet because of the unblockable set up to incoming character
Will Purification assist be fast enough to be a normal otg assist in Ultimate? This is something that has been bugging me for a while so I thought I’d finally get a legit answer.
I wouldn’t bet on it.
There definitely will be a lot of people jumping on him in UMVC3, but I still think he’s a character you have to understand completely to be effective with.
I’ve played lots of random Dormammus here in NorCal that get blown up pretty hard because they use maybe 5% of what Dormammu can REALLY do.
Honestly, teleporters seem so much less scary with cancelable Dark Matter. It means Dormammu can perform some kind of zoning that is 100% safe due to it being cancelable, and none of the teleporters in this game have good projectiles to combat Dark Matter except Wesker, who we now have aerial Dark Spell charges against. I am feeling much more confident against teleporters in general with these changes.
i think new dormammu will be widely used in the beginning of ultimate, but once certain other cast members become more fleshed out, you’ll see dorm fall off the charts a little. still powerful, but players will gravitate towards other characters more naturally.
I imagine it will be the opposite. Everyone will be stuck on the new guys, and then people will start to explore other options and find they like Dormammu.
I don;t think Dormammu will be overplayed.
Also I like the changes, because they make Dormammu a pretty nice anchor.
Yea I think Dormammu is still complicated enough that even if a lot of people gravitate towards him, they won’t stick to him long and move onto an easier to use character.
Dormammu needs a team if people put random character together it would not work i.e wolverine dorm no senergy but powerful characters

Seeing how 0D2C OTGS now would it b possible to do something like J. M, j. H, j. S, OTG 0D2C, into something like Teleport for a mixup or Dark hole to Chaotic flame?
