Considering there was a time where an online play only stream for Super Street Fighter 4 and BlazBlue was on the main page sometimes gathering around 5-9 hundred viewers at a time, this weekend’s stream was extremely successful just by comparison of what was being offered. A legacy game being played at a high level. Was really fun to watch, as usual. Hope the internet problems get settled, but it didn’t affect my viewing much. Always great to watch real Super Turbo.

Sorry I haven’t really been keeping up since you guys launched, streams are real tough for me to watch due to my crappy internet connection. But 17,000 views? Do people not realize that they’re going to be watching ST when they click on it? “FREE BEER AND TITTIES IF YOU CLICK THIS LINK”.

Don’t underestimate DSP’s influence. He has a lot of fans on youtube. And now that he has his own website he’s just getting more and more popular.
There were around 80 people on ggpo that day, but at peak dontblowthis has 1000+ viewers.
If you look at the chat room on ustream you can see that his fans were constantly asking Phil or Rambo to say something funny on stream.
I don’t think they care about what game they are playing (like phil’s youtube game play channel) as long as they talk something funny, their fans are perfectly entertained.
Of course if they can convert a X% of their fans to try fighting games out it would be great (and if they get hooked to ST it’s even better).
DSP, I don’t know if you still frequent this forum. Or if rambo or howard see this, mention this to him.
Maybe you can do some ggpo/supercade sessions on your streetfighter youtube channel, just like you did for ssf4/HDR on XBL.
Just troll the hell out of people online and beat them, I’m sure that’ll make your fans even more interested in trying the game out 
Damdai’s going to try and do something like a celebrity matchup on supercade where we all play the fans and such. Should be pretty cool and get more people into the scene

For those of you who got angry that the stream dropped during finals:
Imagine how I felt when I TOD’ed GreenTea in the last match and IT DIDN’T GET RECORDED OR STREAMED. It was also the only time, ever, in tournament that I TOD’ed someone with a Perfect. FAWK!
But I did enjoy destroying Damdai’s no-skill O.Hawk on camera several times.
I really don’t think I’ll be doing any matches over GGPO on YouTube considering the last time I spoke the truth about GGPO dropping inputs, I got banned from this site for two years.
The stream is f’ing amazing, quality-wise, and I can’t wait for this Sunday when the hilarity will continue.
