Dark Falz Update + Christmas Content
[details=Spoiler]The entire “Where Darkness Gathers” update will be delivered in smaller individual updates. December 12th will see the release of a boss called Dark Falz, who you will fight in an emergency quest. That’s him below:

Dark Falz is huge, supposedly planet-like. You’ll start out by fighting his arms and then move on to his body.

Christmas-themed content will also be part of the update. A Christmas lobby with a giant Christmas tree will be part of the festivities as well. Additionally, Rappies will be changed into Saint Rappies, and you may find that they drop a special item. Finally, the Naura sisters will set up a cake shop where they sell treats and will also make an appearance in an emergency quest.

Been playing a while, but have a noob question:
What do I do with the random fangs, claws, scales, machine parts etc? They’re clogging up my item inventory. I assume they have some use, other than selling them for a piddling amount of money?

Why waiut? YOu can play the game now, their are really good translation guides out and the SEA version coming out will be in english.
Yeah, but my computer slows down to a chug when doing things like the mines time trial on the lowest settings, so I’m pretty much relying on the Vita version, which is a pain because of lack of patch and having to either dedicate one of Sony’s pricy memor sticks to it or pay customs through the arse importing the physical version. (And I’m not sure if the physical version would require me to update through the japanese psn on version updates or not)
Probably going to either set up another memory card with a japanese account with my Vita or import the physical version at some point, but at that point I figure it may be better to just wait and see how Phantasy Star Nova turns out since it’ll have offline play too.
I’ve basically been waiting for a non-moonspeak version of this game to be released before I even consider investing any time into it. Will the SEA version run off their own servers, or will it be linked to the Japanese servers? Still blows my mind that they’re releasing an English translation to SEA, but won’t bring it to the US/EU/AU. wtf is up w/ that.
Or you could play the game now witht he fan translations that already do a great job. The SEA version might be very different from the JP version like PSP 1 & 2 were content wise.
I stopped waiting on this game. It seems that a localization will never come.

PSO2 coming to PlayStation4 next year, also a PSO2 anime is coming out around the same time (ehhh…).
No word yet if there will be an English version of the PS4 release. Will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show
