I noticed how great her c.mk was but I didn’t know it was that good. Now I want to test it vs other infamous reversals to see just how much it can avoid/stuff…
Personally I think that she has a good mix up with using her f+hk overhead. I go for a sweep throw right after it, and if they figure it out i go into her f+mp overhead.
Her only issue is meter usage, with i counter by having both my characters having just meter gems (my other character is Bryan who needs meter to get in from full screen) and getting in, which i cover with my partner. I get a good 500+ damage combo off of jumping hp with a single tag cancel, and when i tag her in i get a little over 400 for the tag cancel
The thing i would like to throw out to people, which i may be completely off with this, but can she Kara any of her command throws. The extra range to either sweep throw or falling rain would be very good
With Asuka’s help, I realized not only do I mess up and do her counter on accident when going from blocking to trying to do f. lk > f. lp, but also that my lp button is broken on my man-i-had-to-try-one-fightstick. What do I do now? 0
I HATE getting counter when I walk cr.lk or something from crouch block, I really need to clean up my inputs >_>

I’m trying to do the first one, and once I get to the c.MP the QCB+P refuses to come out. It’ll usually either link into a totally different normal or into her launcher. >:(
Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong?
I’d say just clean up your execution. Try not to rush the whole chain, wait for that c.MP to come out before actually trying to make that next hit come out.
I’ll swing through these combos and see if I hit the same problem. I hope it helps!
Just seems like I may not be buffering correctly, I dunno. I’ve tried waiting for the whole frame to come out and that’s not getting me any consistent results either.
Hrm, why not try the lp or mp version if you’re getting launcher? I’m sure this isn’t helping at all though just chattin about it. Are you on PSN?

It’s hcb+p, not qcb+p, that might solve your problem
I guess it’s just a matter of cleaning up your inputs, when the cr.mp hits, just input hcb+p, keep at it until you get it.
Just a heads up, that combo isn’t really viable, a better combo is j.hp > st.lp > st.mp > st.lk xx upkicks > j.hk > st.hk xx hcb+k > cr.hk.
Or if you’re punishing a raw tag or you see the j.hp connect, do j.hp > st.hk xx upkicks > j.hk > st.hk xx hcb+k > cr.hk.
Haah, that’s true too. The thing with that combo is that lk>mk>cr.mp go a little slower than the first three hits, think of the mp>lp>mp as mp [lp, mp] if you come from a tekken background. You just gotta let it happen until the lm>mk>cr.mp come out before trying the hcb+p.

Alright, after watching that and mimicking the the rythem I’m able to do it a lot more consistently now. :tup:

Not entirely true. She bodies hugo pretty hard!
