So are we having a crisis with SSF4 AE? It seems like the game lost it’s appeal fast with the players. Ono is trying to get it rebalanced again. I forsee this as a disaster if there is another upgrade. It’s just cannibalising the game and killing what’s left of the arcade scene.
In hindsight Super should have been AE and stopped at that.
IMO Yun shouldn’t have never been included. There really is no way you can nerf him. His character design is the problem. In 3S at least you had a chance because of the parry.

Well, it’s not an unreasonable guesstimate of the backlash seeing as I’ve gotten death threats from sf4 players for saying their game sucks. Imagine once they realize their game sucks just by having one 3s character being added into their roster.
The world will be at war. Or will they pick up 3s and realize how strong of a game it is.

Well my conclusion for AE is to leave it alone now. No more patching anymore. If Yun is too good then deal with it.
It’s actually a good thing that a lot of people are turned off by the game. Only the hardcore will remain. Only the strong survive.
