I didn’t know. So this Saturday just got more complicated. If you were planning on going to the Denjin tournament just go to the Denjin tournament. I’ll still keep my gathering for this week on Saturday. So hopefully next week everything returns back to normal.

Since we live in America and we are a capitalistic society that is always trying to sell stuff, you can say that commercials and ads are a form of propaganda since we are bombarded with images and words that are always trying to sell us stuff. I wouldn’t go far to say that there are subliminal messages in these ads because I don’t think there really is a hidden meaning or agenda we have to decode in them but I would say that ads and commercials do play on the consumer’s insecurities.
When ads and commercials try to sell us something they are always trying to tell us that something is wrong with us. For example, we have bad BO on a date, we need to buy this deodorant. We need better tires so that we don’t get in a car accident. Basically what these ads are really selling us is fear. These ads have to scare us so that they can motivate us to buy stuff. It’s just like the news. They report all these fearful events so that we’ll be scared to go outside and we’ll stay home and watch TV. Also I believe all the news is there for is to sell commercials anyway. So in addition to staying home, we’ll also be fed ads.

Maybe one or two 3S players but overall not really. Denjin is like an hour and a half away from my place. But a good amount of people who go to WNF go to my place.

I’d go out to FFA like I used to, or even Denjin, but not with gas prices like this. 
Only thing that I could think about right now are the old NES games like Super Mario Bros and Zelda and how both games make you collect coins. To me making little kids collect coins all day teaches them about greed. Especially in Zelda after you kill the enemy and then get a coin lol.
