Both. He plays on GGPO everyday though since his friends are on it. I also just played Tenren today and boy did he teach me a lesson I will never forget. Everybody else on GGPO is pretty easy-to-moderately hard to tackle, but Jesus, those two will just make you look like you don’t know anything about 3rd Strike. 
Looks like it. Palm Springs told me they’ve been practicing up for Friday and rumor has it that Dander might join us. Maybe.
We need to start cloning new 3S players. We might have to install a Korean Counter Strike system where old players mentor the new ones lol. Or maybe start a 3S fighting game house where players live together and ay 3S all day lol.

Thank you everyone for showing up last Friday. It was fun. We had thirteen people. It was a great turnout for 3S. It’s nice to see the drastic improvement in the players who started coming here not that long ago. You guys made great progress.

For the peeps who have been going to Japan Arcade.
How often to they host Third Strike tournaments? I hear they are closing so maybe they are done with that?
I might drop by tonight to Dons.
EDIT: Err, scratch that. I woke up at 5am today to get to work. I am already sleepy
It was every 2 weeks at one point, but then they kind of stopped for some reason until the last most one we went to. Even then, that tournament was under the radar. I had no clue they were closing down. Japan Arcade was pretty awesome (despite the sticks). Decent comp, but it’s sadly one of the few places that hold regular 3s events.
Japan Arcade and FFA are closing at the end of the year when the lease expires.
This is true. A series of health problems and low profit margins is forcing Ralph to sort of step down from the business and having to close both his arcades. It’s a sad day for the community.
Basically the only real arcades left in Socal are Super Arcade, Alex’s Arcade, and Don’s Arcade, (and I guess Round1, if you can even consider that place an arcade)
Isn’t Round 1 like another Dave and Buster’s set up kinda deal? I’ve never been, wanted to when SSF4 was growing but it was also SF4 that kept me from doing anything at the same time.
It’s like a Japanese Dave and Buster’s. It has karaoke, bowling, billiards, ping pong, food, beer, and sodas. For arcades it has redemption, bemani, fighting games, shooting games, racing games, and those Japanese photobooth things. Basically you can do everything there, and that’s kind of the point. It’s fairly expensive and it uses a card system much like D&B.
Oh and a fuck ton of Claw games . They’re like $2-$4 per play, but the prizes are pretty cute stuffed animals that girls love. You see a BUNCH of Asian kids with their girlfriends there.
So yeah, they have arcade games, but I wouldn’t really call them an arcade. They’re a chain store, with a FUCK ton of expendable income, and multiple sources of revenue.
