Yes I am undefeated in Street Fighter X Tekken.
You keep your undefeated SFxT streak because you clearly played it more than I. Which, I am fine with. Because I found THIS fucking gem in SFxT.

You know what I say?
It’s coming.
Hey everyone, this is Neal. This is extremely last-minute, but OutForJustice (Matt) is going to be running a Street Fighter x Tekken tournament at his GameStop tomorrow night for the midnight release of the game. The store is in Torrance near the corner of Sepulveda and Crenshaw, right next to the Starbucks and Quizno’s. If anyone’s interested and can make it out, give the store a call and sign up before 8PM tomorrow. The tournament is free, and there will be prizes for at least the top 2. He’s still trying to work out the prize details with his district manager, but a free copy of the game will be in the prize pool at least with a possibility of a SFxT Fightstick Pro for first place. All of the details are below, so make sure to call to sign up if you’re interested. Thanks guys, and I hope to see everyone there.

p.s. to Don: Sorry to hijack this thread, but I figured this was a good place to post this since it was local and last minute. Haha.
So how’d the Gamestop tournament go? Who won and what was the prize?
Thank you everyone who showed up this past Friday. It was grand. We had a 23 player turnout. We had great variety. In addition to SFxT and UMVC3 action there was also some good 3S, KOFXIII, and Guilty Gear Accent Core action. Super fun night.
Thank you Julius, Celso, Lee, Mr.12, Galzpanic, Eric, Erosentinel, Strider, The Absolute, Courtney, OutForJustice, Karafail, Eddie, Super Mario, Naked Snake, John, Sanchez, Paul, Steve, Joe, Ryan, Marshall, and Yem.
Thank you all and let’s try this again this coming Friday.
SnakeEyes took home first with a nasty hard knockdown setup with Gief/Kaz. Peter Bautista (forgot his handle, anyone happen to know?) came in second with a Rufus/Gief team. Ambiguous dive kick crossups harassing the bracket. I will post the full bracket if you guys want, just let me know.
Congrats to Darryl and Peter!
Thanks all for coming!
Hope we can do this again soon.

Winner: SnakeEyes

Runner Up: Peter Bautista

Cool. Ya post up the bracket if it’s not too much trouble. Good job on running the tourney Matt.
I’m not surprised Peter came in second. He’s a strong SF4 player.
We shall have a gathering tomorrow. Anyone and everyone is invited. The more the merrier. Anyone new who is interested text me at 310 344 9367.
Hope to see y’all tomorrow.
Say Don, is GGXXAC and Alpha 3 still in? If not…you didn’t happen to replace them with more 3s did you? D=
You want GGXXAC still in? I haven’t taken it out yet. A3 is still in. It will always be in.
If I had a say in the matter, I’d ask for Vampire Savior. Grant and I are trying to get into that game. Though yes, I want AC to stay in. It fits me like a glove from what I’ve all experienced. Actually, I’m surprised it didn’t have a strong following like the 3rd Strike scene did. It’s in that weird KOF 13 situation.
3rd Strike shall never be compared to anything beneath it, only above it in its own category: Godlike.
3rd Strike.
I’m gonna put CVS2 and take GGAC since CVS2 is the more popular game here. You need experts to truly appreciate GGAC. I love Vampire Savior. When there is more space that will be the next game to go in.
Tonight we shall have a gathering from 7a-4p. Anyone and everyone is invited. The more the merrier. Anyone new who wants to join us please text me at 310 344 9367. I’ll be going around to collect the E fee so please have it ready when I ask. Hope to see y’all tonight.
Don, your challenge for today is to learn how to combo Sonic Boom into Flash Kick in SFxT.
If you figure this out, I will have witnesses, and I will know that you do in fact enjoy this game.
The game is ok. It’s not bad. It’s because all the old school Ryu and Guile tricks that are already programed in my central nervous system work well. It’s a good game on the amateur level. Good for the watered down taste of today’s community. And I don’t mean that in a bad way.
The reason why my Guile is working so far is because the new world Guiles are slow compared to the OG Guiles. So the game for me is slow hence easier to do the combos because my natural speed is the ST speed.
I think you’re underestimating how good Guile’s zoning game is in this game, it’s crazy.
That Guile stuff I was doing last week was very similar to how I played Guile in Street Fighter EX.
What is Street Fighter EX
The game that SFxT is half designed after (the third one, at least).
