Doing a Hadouken after a Crouching High Punch

Hello,
I’m a relatively new player owning a te fight stick and I’m trying to get my execution right.
For that, I’m doing the Trials with Ryu, but I’m stuck on level 4.
The commands are:
Jump + Hard Kick, Crouching Hard Punch, Hadouken, EX Focus Attack.
But the Hadouken never comes out… so I thought I practice doing only
Chrouching Hard Punch + Hadouken in isolation, but I cannot get the Hadouken
out reliably. I don’t know why, the input seems to be correct:

probably because you are doing the hadoken to slow. Try a different timing and see if it works

I had a terrible time with fireballs when I got my stick because of the square gate on the joystick. I would always get hung up on the corners. If your getting hug up on the corners swap out the square gate with a hexagon or circular gate. The gate cost less than 10 bucks and is a VERY easy mod.

Or learn how to use a stick without riding the gates for your inputs.

Hey orrson, have you ever heard of negative edge? I’m new to the game as well but this sounds like a problem you can solve by using it. I could write a few lines trying to explain it to you here but that would just be a waste of our time because Vesper has this amazing tutorial that addresses it in a very detailed and newbie friendly manner.
