Dog Cancels

The bit dog will cancel ‘stagger’ status and put your opponent back on the ground. Fucking sweet.

Im using Roll, but Karas will work too.

you all might like this one i did a couple weeks ago then and yea even karas assist will work. i’m using 10% baroque also and as you can see only one super bar was used but i know it would get more nasty with a shinsho cancel into more crap.

ill post up damage values later (unless keits beats me to it). iirc, w/ like 20% red this can kill a good deal of the cast without even needing to use the super.

EDIT: the assists ive tested it to work with are: ryu, alex, doronjo, karas, morrigan and souki. characters you can’t use it with are chun, rock polymer. the rest are uncormfirmed, since i didn’t try them yet. also, even though a few of those assists knock down or juggle on hit, there seems to be a bug where if you hit with the dog immediately after a move that knocks down, it will put them back on the ground in the stagger animation.

hey keit that first post you have doesnt quite make sense, or maybe i just dont know how to read it. if you could write down the combo again, that would be cool.

With Tekkaman’s assist theres actually enough time for the :snkc: version of friender to come out, but :snkb: works if you’re fast enough.

The 236B, Baroque, 63214B only works if they are in the corner. It doesn’t even work if Casshern is in the corner (where you’d expect the dog to hit super quick since it has no real distance to traverse).

Oh yeah, it does around 33K damage with 10% baroque, and 42.7K with 20% on Ryu. Maybe someone can find a way to make this work midscreen.

I don’t get it…

That cancel caused the game to glitch and essentially end it right there since the person with the dead Casshern could no longer tag out nor could anyone kick the dead Casshern off the screen. If you were playing with no timer (Infinite Time), you’d have to reset the Wii.

Or just hit start and exit out…

No, sorry lol, I don’t get the whole, dog cancel thing… I don’t see anything in Cassern’s move set that causes stagger for the dog to even cancel…

Hes causing stagger by using a partner, in this case Roll’s water throw which causes stagger, which the dog will cancel the stagger and place them back on the ground to be combo’d again, which if you time it right you can basically string together something like: combo - partner - dog - wait - combo - partner - dog

I usually do combo xx thunder punch xx BBQ, combo, partner, dog, combo, launch, divekick, super.

Here’s a nice combo I found with Tekkaman and C Friender that allows you to combo OTG and is uncrashable.

5a 5b 2b 5c 421b 623ab+p 63214c 2a 2a 2a 2a 2a 2b 5c 2c BQ 2a 2a 2a 2a 2a 2b 5c 2c 623ab or 421c (usually does around the same dmg)

Note: this doesn’t work the same in a corner because yr opponent pops up in the air.
