I’ll need to check out stuff - confirms off of hawkeye triple arrow (makes web throw followups finicky imo) amount of crL that I could fit in a combo, etc. I really really like that though. thanks.

I have a couple more that I’m about to put into a video for you but also so I can test this mic for future commentary.

I like how it gets you good damage even if you start a combo with spider bite. As I mash srk constantly this is a big deal for me

I love how his Web Throw is somehow still greatly extending his damage potential, despite the damage nerf, lol. The best part, though, is that we’re not relying on Web Throw for our damage potential through outrageous assists and impractical setups/combos. (My Web Throw Corner Loop setup was freakin’ legit though; my tech skill sufficed)

Man that tech was BOOTY :trollface: :lol: but really though that shit was awesome but too many people wanted to derp with him. One of the reasons I wasnt too hurt they nerfed it :lol: if anything they made it more useful thus making it an even exchange. IMO I say it was buffed :lol:

I’m right now using L,M, H, Spider Sting/Bite, c.H, S, j.M, j.M, j.H, H Web Swing, j.H, j.S, land, OTG Assist, M Web Throw, TK Maximum Spider. Does over 600k, I think it was around 630,000 with Sentinel’s OTG assist.

This BnB has really good wall carry, and if you’re mid-screen you very well might carry the opponent into the corner with this by the time you hit j.S.

Does anybody here use Spiderman and Strider? You guys wouldn’t happen to know what’s the best Spiderman can do after a hit from Strider’s vajra assist? It causes a hard knockdown. Have you guys tried it or do you have any ideas for the best spiderman otg followup?

Made some 2 combos with Doom (again) and Skrull from posted stuff here and added my own. More damage can be done by changing first few inputs.

6 goddamn web throws. Wow.

I do. I play Spiderman(w.ball)/Skrull(Tenderizer)/Strider(Vajra). If they’re standing on the ground, Spiderman can eat the opponent alive because of the large hitstun it causes. All it really takes is Vajra xx WebZip (air or ground) xx j.:h: and it’s hello 800k damage. For the hard knockdown when they’re in the air, there’s not much Spiderman can do for obvious reasons. He can either WebZip OTG or set up a mix-up of your choice once they wake up. The prior can be hard to land at times because Spidey has to be in a certain range to land it.

If he’s too far, it won’t land at all because Spidey wastes too much time jumping up to compensate. If he’s close, then you either “swingzip” or back dash to air webzip; both of these are kind of hard (for me). Furthermore, if you were close to the opponent, I would call into question the reason for calling Vajra anyway. Lastly, if he’s at a good mid-range, then there should be no problems. In all three of these cases, OTGing can be messed up if the opponent has an assist on the field complicating the issue further. My choice is usually to go with the latter, mix-up, unless I’m feeling especially dicey.

That’s about all I know. Granted I’m not especially experienced, someone else my have some cents to throw.

Please do post your post Spider bite combo… I’m still struggling to find a consistent BnB that can break 900k with 1 assist and 1 DHC and starts with a Spider Sting or a normal chain into Spider sting.

I do think that naked spider stings are really important now in Spidey’s neutral game… Keeps Wolvies and air dashers honest, for sure.

just hitconfirm midscreen with dash up cr. :m:, s.:h: xx::l: web throw, in the corner you can omit the dash and the cr. :m: 'cause you’re closer and it’s more consistent

Right now I’m editing some throw combos and regular combos mostly dealing with web throw shenanigans. I’m trying to find alternate ways to land this one combo I have in here though.

I was trying to think of a way to follow up like doing crawler assault instead XFC xx :h: Spider Sting ~ :h: xx Web Zip OTG or doing a similar thing after the maximum spider, but the hit stun is too high and they just fly out.

Wow. For seven webthrows that didn’t do a lot of damage. With the vanilla throw, that combo would be closer to a mil+. haha

That would probably kill thor with out even using a hyper haha

Doing :l: webthrow after s.:h: as a combo starter is just stupid in a match. :l: webthrow is unsafe and randomly doesn’t link as a combo depending on spacing. It’s not something you can hit confirm unless you’ve got godlike reaction skills.

that was one of my issues with sH xx L webthrow combos as well. I’ll see what I can do to improve my damage though, as I only get 740k with 1 assist, 1 bar.

I was trying to do this combo but after the j.:m: j.:m: j.:h: j.:s: i cant connect the s.:m: because the character flys to high, what am i doing wrong? :frowning:
