Yep, I was editing my post when I got your reply. Here’s something that can help and can be discussed to assist others making combos not only with Spidey but with the rest of the cast.

ive not been on these boards much so i dont now if someone has already covered this. but i was messing about with a solo spidey combo off of web throw that can get to 650k damage.
web throw, wave dash airweb zip,air H, S. H, L web throw, wavedash, air web zip, air.H, S.H, spidersting H, spiderbite, S, air M,H, H webswing, MS.
i tested it against various sized characters, and the same combo even works against rocket racoon. you can sub the second webthrow for a M webthrow which gives it more consistency esp in corners.
You can actually fit a web zip j.:s: st.
cr.:h: xx :l: Web Swing j. j. j.:s: st.:h: xx :l: Spider Sting~:h:
From there you can go straight into :l: Web Throw and follow up with stuff, or do c.:h: :s: j. j.:h: j.:s: and follow up with stuff.
So yeah, I ended up going through a run through of all possible assists that can combo into all hits of Crawler Assault mid-screen.

Ryu’s tatsu *can *in fact combo into Crawler Assault later in a combo, but I was too tired to actually get a recorded combo with it. If you don’t see an assist here that you think could work, then it either has a wall bounce, it comes out way too quickly, or it just puts the opponent too high.

Yeah, I don’t have very much respect for him. Also, like I said back in Vanilla, FUCKING EVERYTHING AND MORE WORKS ON HIM. He was the only character that we could get three whole reps of the Web Throw Corner Loop when you combo’d into it through the Zip method.
Did you try it on Morrigan?
I tried it on everyone. Let me check my notebook… I wrote “1+?”, meaning that you could get 1 rep on her and get 1 additional 1 Web Throw, but I wasn’t confident enough in whether I was able to get more or not. It was as if everyone’s hurtboxes heavily affected whether it was possible or not to get additional Web Throws, and how difficult it was to cross under them.

Finally found a very content place to XFC in the middle of Spidey’s combos, provided you need to kill a character, or you’re running him 2nd/3rd and really need to get the momentum going (most likely redundant… I say that word too much…):
XFC’ing almost any version of Spider Sting during the grounded state will combo into Web Throw… or is it almost any version of X-Factor will allow you to combo any variation of Spider Sting into Web Throw? I’ll get back to you guys on that. Regardless, it’s a lot easier to perform than in other spots, and you can still get a nice chunk of damage from whatever you follow it up with. Now if I can just find a spot to pop X-Factor when you catch a Happy Birthday and you don’t have enough meter to kill both normally… Because I like to be prepared for all situations.
My team is spidey/storm/akuma and I really like it. Akuma lock down lets spidey set up his awesome offensice optinos ( spider bite, web zup s or H, TK web swing)
I use xeros storm TAC combo, I have a nice TAC into AKuma, but I can’t find a good TAC with spiderman. I remember there being some dope vanilla stuff but I can’t seem to figure it out.
My biggest issue is my spiderman isn’t doing quite enough damage. With a good THC i can kill a lot of characters, but I definintely need a better Bnb. one that’s universal and coupled with storms hail should kill just about everyone in the game.
As a tournament player, I’m sticking with spidey till death, I just need damage.
I have a fun XFC1 combo that kills everyone, but I don’t want to have to activate to kill everyone in the game.
Right now my bnb is Magic Series into Web swing, M, M, S, M, H, cr.H , S M, M H, Web swing super

The idea I have is there. Haven’t done a rundown of Storm assists but I’m pretty sure you can get something better. Storm is pretty good with TACs since she’s got a ROM loop like Mag, so after the first sting instead of doing double stings, do c:h::s: sj:m: sj:h: TAC then ROM with Storm.
You should have no problems getting another BnB. There’s tons of material for Spider-Man right now; go to any page of the combo thread and you should find something nice for 800k. You should really have a Bnb for any situation you can think of, not just ground-to-ground but air-to-ground, air-to-air, combos off of raw web throw, etc.
Any ideas on what string is best to do when you TAC to Spidey?
Hey iNerd you can do much better than that. Here’s a very basic one solo:
LMH xx L Web Swing, j.H, j.S, s.M, s.H xx L Web Throw, dash, air dash, web zip OTG, j.H, s.M, c.H xx L Web Swing, j.M, j.M, j.S, c.M, s.H xx Spider Sting/Bite, S, MMHS, Team super.
You can skip the second Web Swing to make the combo even easier. Also, I believe you can call Akuma assist right before sting/bite and do a L Web Throw and TK Maximum Spider instead of the air series.
So basically you’re losing a lot of damage by not using Spider Sting and Webthrows mid combo.
I wouldn’t call that basic. More intermediate but yes you get a lot more damage using those tools in your combos.

not basic at all, it’s ridiculously hard, and off of crH this actually doesn’t work
oh it doesn’t work after crH. that makes sense. I was trying it with crouching LMH in training after I saw what kinda combos were possible in Xero’s vid and it didn’t work for me at all. The training dummy popped out right after the second web swing.
It would have been better advice if I skipped the second Web Swing then ^^. The version without it is my bnb in matches and I can even pull it online, though sometimes you have to use Spider Sting/bite or a web throw earlier to adjust the opponent’s height.
[S]Can you show a vid please?[/S] Kudos for being able to pull them off online though, I for one haven’t been able to so I use gimped ones. 
Edit: Misread the notation. I’m doing the same thing but use j:s: instead of j:h: after the web zip. Also, it is possible from a c:h: but you have to take away some inputs.
umm you can do that combo off a c:h: I already showed a video of that
