could any1 give me some advice on how to use taki? im currently a x user (around here, surprisingly few ppl use her) but im kinda curious- i faced a taki again who sucked, but she seemed to have a lot o potential - does she take a while to learn? if so, i might just try to learn ivy instead (and if any1 wants to give advice about ivy thad b fine :lol: )
She’s an extremely technical character, and takes a lot of effort to win. She’s also very good. Still, I wouldn’t recomend her to anyone but advanced players. Not a good character to pick up if you’re still getting into the game. IMO, anyways.
If you really want to learn her, though, there is a lot to learn with her… more than I could summarize in one post (like, say, Nightmare or Xianghua). Look here for all the info you’ll need on using her. I recomend you check out the “Halister’s Taki” post… outdated, but very insightful (if, at times, abstract).
Con-Alas, Nori’s Cervy got less attention that it deserved, due to his stick misfortunes.
I never got to play him, but from what I saw, he’s at least solid.
Well, I never said that Taki sucked. I just said she wasnt’ top tier. She’s HELLA good. I wouldnt use her if she wasnt as good as she is. To be honest I think shes close to top tier, but no cigar.
I guess I just thought that her recovery time sux because I battle so many Xs down here and it seems like if I accidently whiff one attack then I’m screwed. And its hard to make sure every attack hits when she has that shitty range, but shes good for alot of reasons. Fast, great mixups and so much more.
As for Kilik I’m sorry to say this, but how is he not a scrub character? When did he even become mid tier? X is weak against him for sure though. I mean he aint as scrubby as Maxi, but how easy can a character get? I mean X is easier, but atleast she’s good. Who has won a BIG tourny with Kilik?
I would have to agree with b4k4 in saying that SC2 is pretty much dead, which sucks because I love the game so much. I dont think its fair that games way older are still so much more popular. Like MvC2,CvS2,3rd strike etc. There great games, but so is SC.
By the way does anyone know anything about another SC game? I guess SC:tag would be cool.:lol: Nah that seems kinda stupid, but it seems like a cool idea. Anybody agree???

o yea, u gave me some advice on learning x… so u know my x is crap… might as well learn new characters :lol: actually, i want to learn taki cuz although a few ppl use her, i feel like she has so much more potential… on the other hand, theres a really good ivy player, and learning ivy might help my x play… if u know ur enemy, u can beat them right?
