maybe I’m in the wrong area but bare with me guys, i have the hardest time doing the triangle dash to get the double footdive combo. I believe my problem is after the S. I read a lot of different places saying that i should whiff a normal or air dash down. How do i get this to come out?! I’ve tried on my own but i cant get it to come out!
After the S air dash down forward and press any normal after the dash so it whiffs to make you land faster to do the triangle dash. Hopefully this helps

Doom: cr.L+Disruptor, cr.M Dash cancel up, adf j.M derp derp derp damage (you fill in the rest) can be mixed up with; Doom: cr.L+Disruptor, M Dash dash cancel up, addf, cr.L derp derp
if you get a hit with the initial cr.L+Disruptor, cr.M either of the mix ups connect as part of a combo, havent seen it done by anyone, but at the same time never bothered to look into it, if its already known let me know and ill take this post down, as a side note the adf j.M part seems hard to confirm off of against tron but you can do it, works fine against RR so i would guess it works against most of the cast
Any ideas on how to improve this with only lariat assist? I’ve thought about using staggered missiles to pick up and then call lariat to hold the character until the other missiles come down then doing a standard double foot dive and plasma beam ender but so far that hasn’t yeilded consistent enough results to consider it.
Wouldn’t a sphere flame ender do more damage? I’m not sure if lariat allows for a st.:h: plasma beam sphere flame, but if it does that might make it hit a million.
Just tried it out. I can pull 958,600 damage off of using the sphere flame but that ender doesn’t allow any dhcs since the assist is still out and sphere into body press is a terrible dhc anyways. Ah well, could always use the sphere to kill most of the cast and save the first for the million dollar club characters.
How the hell is Sphere into Body press a bad damage DHC? You get full body press damage and most of Spheren Flame damage if you time it right.
Lol, my bad. I never said it was a bad damage dhc. Just my mind wandered away from combo ender applications and into attempted safe dhcs and whatnot when I said that.
The damage is great, though I’m not sure If sphere into body press does more than air photon into rapid fire fist.

Been trying to figure out some new Doom corner combos. I discovered if you just do magic series XX double footdive and leave out the first footdive on the second rep, you can hit S and then land an Air M followed by whatever else you choose to input.

Hey guys so I’m working on improving my doom, and before I ask this question I want to apologize because I’m certain its been answered before but I honestly don’t know where to begin looking for said answer. So yea, are there any guidelines for confirming with doom? Like basic things you should just know so you can switch up your confirm depending on the situation? For example when I see someone getting hit by drones I go for a j. :f: :h: foot dive dash down but I try to do a j.:l: after that but it misses. So yea shit like that. I’m tired of just doing
into :s: footdive since it messes up my hitstun, plus it doesn’t look very stylish.

So for the standard corner TAC infinite, how do you adjust if you’re too low to hit the jL jM jM footdive, jLL aduf jLL? In the situation where you hit the falling jL link, but the opponent is too low. I know you can still do the midscreen infinite variant but I’m trying to get max damage on every rep.
Why is max damage/rep more important than reliability and difficulty? There’s no upside either way. If you don’t drop the combo, the only thing that changes is how quickly they died.
You have more chances of messing up the link for the midscreen variant since it does less dmg per rep.
Last combo game 1 Zak uses THC to extend the combo. I’m trying doom/modok/ammy. Is it possible to use otg missiles into THC to enda similar combo? Firebrand THC causes the otg but my makeup Wont work unless I footdive land close and otg with the first missle coming up. I also Dont know how to stagger the missiles to cause them to otg again.
Lastly anyone know which modok assist I should use if I want to extend the combo after hitting with otg missiles?
