Is this generally considered his main midscreen bnb now? I just picked Doom up, and I can’t really find anything online about what his midscreen bnb is now… The closest I found was in this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyTDLjJlfcA …but I was wondering if this was outdated as well…lol can literally not find a match vid were Doom confirms into a combo mid screen …
Try, cr.:l::h::s::f::h:-add-:s::l::f::h:-add-:s::l::f::h:-add-:s::l::f::h:-add- cr.:h::s::l::l::f::h::s:-add-st.:h::s::f::h::s:-add-…, should do more damage than what you have there albeit 2-3k (or so) less than the Maziodyne combo except being really forgiving with the hitstun.

Edit: Damn this is messy as fuck ._.
hmmm never considered :l::f:+:h::s:…good catch on that and the swapped loop in the middle.

and yes…yes it is I’m just hoping these notations will work in the update.

[edit] - Works! And it nets me 1,011,000!!!

What? His real combos and comfirms are extremely fun. It’s just J. S is really fucking easy so that’s all you see people go for.

Yea, but the good thing is since j. S seems to add a lot to your hit stun, it still rewards the people who learn the real hit confirms. I still do j. S, but I’ve been trying to incorporate the real stylish ones for that reason.

You’re getting plasma beam and tacs because you’re not handling your dpad/joystick properly. Just don’t move unless you need to and don’t do unnecessary motions like downforward when you’re moving your joystick to forward, thanks to the buffering the game can see it as a qcf depending on what you’ve buffered before it.

Edit: Easy buttergun confirm, after you’ve landed you can super jump and cancel it with a -adf- , duo to the super jump the will have more hitstun and will let you land into cr:m::h:.
What are doom’s best air to air normals and subsequent conversions? For normal jump height the best I could come up with was j.M > forward H > ADF, j.M, land, st.L > st.M > cr.H > S
So what combos should I be doing to corner carry? Actually I’m just looking for optimized doom combos. The combos I do now are just basic combos that aren’t cutting it anymore.
Doom is a staple on most of my teams and all I can do with TACs is m and m. What types of tac swag should I learn first? I play online primarily. Thanks.
Just out of curiosity, why should this be standard? And is there a specific combo we should stick :l: :l: into or just in all combos? I currently use the :f: :h: :s: combo, but I’m trying to learn the second combo in the above video.
L L does slightly more damage than j.M(2). It isn’t too big a deal, but if your combo is like 4k from an important kill milestone like 896k then the L L might be enough to matter.
It’s also way more consistent. You don’t have to worry about awkward delays with j. early on. It’s more of a case of ‘why not?’ if it’s slightly better and easier? Pretty much every early j.(2) can be replaced with j.:l::l:, it’s not till deeper in the combo you’re forced to no longer use it due to hitstun. So far j.:l::l: and j.(2) have the same impact on histun decay.
