Can a doom/ammy player tell me what mixup am I suppose to do during the thc?
Go for lows with c.L, box dash j.M, fake a high by jumping and dashing straight down, box dash j.M xx Fly j.M j.S(no hit) c.L to do a double overhead, or if you’re close enough w/o XF you can attempt a grab in between elements, or just XF if you’re far away. If the opponent is jumping you can dash under them to cross up or use j. f.H to cross them up when they’re jumping. I usually don’t call a THC unless I have XF, I’m very close, or if the oppoenent is air dashing/attacking so I get a for sure hit.

Guess I need to bitch more about nobody using one of doom’s best tools, for no reason at all.
In fairness lots of important characters can just crouch under it. Unless you make them stand first Doom isn’t hitting Mags with tri.j.L .
Lots of people stand during the TAC sillyness. trying to block j.M, and they get stuck in standing position because of the ice/lightning falling from shuffle

If you’re doing this, there is absofrigginlutely no reason to not stick a j.L in there. if it hits, great, if it doesnt, you still got your fake into low.

Hay dudes could anyone give me the inputs for the doom m&ms tac combo?
Sod it, I’ve posted it everywhere else relevant now. The first combo shows off the late extension Disrupter gives Doom for a nice chunk of damage and meter to make this dumb combo possible:

The extension itself is tight, but as a rule of thumb;
Big character - Input :a1:~st.H xx M.Shield L
Medium/small character - Input :a1:+st.H xx M.Shield L
st.:h: into :dp::l: works most of the time without an assist and if you use one, :dp::h: should always work.

Wait what? Late into a combo I have never been able to get a raw st.:h: xx M.Shield :l: to work without an assist. Can you show me an example?
And I use :l: Shield in that example because Disrupter has so little hitstun (especially after a combo of that length) that it just barely allows the cancel into it.
Haven’t tested it too much since I haven’t been playing a lot lately but it should work if you cancel the st.:h: exactly as one of the two hits connect, not when the move ends nor in middle of the two hits. Might be so that it doesn’t work when the HSD is maxed out.

yeh i figured you can combo after you do finger lasers but it scales so much…
Generally you won’t hit them. There’s a couple of incoming and reset situations where you might use ground photons in the corner. Even when you do catch people on hit unless you XFactor to make the combo easy you should just use the frame advantage to setup a mixup.
