I was thinking about picking up a 3D fighter. I’ve only played AE and UMVC3 but these two titles look interesting. I heard the scene for DoA5 is extremely small but I’ve heard that TTT2 is terribly technical. I was looking to pick up one of these to casually play since I don’t have much time because of college.
Just wanted some feedback and opinions.
The best thing that you can do is try both games by yourself and decide what is the one that you like more
Chances are you can probably find more offline players in Tekken that you would in DoA. The DoA scene for some reason has always had more of a following via online play than actual offline meetups. But like previously said, you are better off just trying both of them out and finding out for yourself which one you’d rather play.
And on a side note, just because a game is more complex than the other does not mean it is not fun. Or have people forgotten that games can still be fun without having to dwell too deep into them?
Too bad the online is ass.
Offline scene has grown a lot more ever since this game came out due to it’s presence in majors than before. DOA4 was ruined by MLG/Cybergames and the online community.
Both games are great, so you really can’t go wrong.
