DOA 4 Screens

Nope

DOA was DOA, if you get my drift.

LOLing at getting neg.rep 'cuz I’m not talking shit about DOA.

Must be a tekken fan :lame:

What are you talking about?

In my user cp, where it has rep points.

looks ok…

that is the most generic vauge gamefaqs scrub shit ive ever heard

Ah ok, I can tell you it wasnt me.

I think SF is DOA as well. DOA is more “alive” than SF is. SF is stale to most casual and and growing stale to people who play hardcore. Capcom should take notes.

HAHAHA!! nice one jae

Capcom should take notes from Itagaki?

Capcom: But if the command for Hadouken is “punch” then how cou-
Itagaki: Do you want to make money or not? The Shoryuken is useless anyway.
Capcom: …OK. But at least get rid of the auto-guard.
Itagaki: No.
Capcom: …Vega is dead, Gouki killed him.
Itagaki: No, Vega turned into a log before Gouki shot him.
Capcom:

But seriously, it would be cool if DOA was at EVO.

heres my logic to why i think the current xbox can do pretty close… look at dao3, that came out a long ass time ago when ppl didnt know how to fully take advantage to the hardware… now we have doau… looks nice, but to me, i dont see much improvement

now if u look at splinter cell 1 or halo 1… and look at what we have now (sc 3 and halo2) the amount of improvement is just insane…

now i know there different types of games, but i always thought i fighter should be the best looking game (least amount of things going on). but ppl were saying theres even folds in the clothes … nfl 2k3 did that a long time ago lol

That’s not too great of a comparison, and I think DOAU looks better then Halo 2… Even though they are completely different types of games.

doa really isnt that bad of a game. i didnt read most of what he said but i think he just mentioned it was deep and it works, etc. it isnt anymore deep than soul calibur, tekken, or vf (or anywhere close) but at the same time it still takes skill to win at and relies heavily on mindgames.

not a bad game but not a good game either imo.

I honestly don’t even think Halo 2 is even that great looking of a game. The game has alot going on technically, but it caused Bungie to overlook alot of the artistic subtlety that made Halo look so great in the first place (aka integrity). Way too much bumpmapping in some areas. Way too much blooming in others. Super high contrast of colors in many areas. Way too dark to see in others.

Blech.

Halo 2 in comparison to Halo just seems like a soulless mishmash of market technology.

IMO Halo > Halo 2 graphically and gameplay wise.

Art direction >>>> horsepower.

Best post ever.

That really is some hilarious shit.

ya halo was a bad example… but what about ghost recon and ghost recon 2?

but anyway… someone said doau looks better than halo2… fighting games are alot easier when it comes to graphics… hell just look at ninja gaiden, the game has amazing ghraphics but ofcourse the charactor models have less detail than doa…

ok im finish running my mouth… this is to much of an opinionated thing to debate :xeye: lol

DOA and Ninja Gaiden > Halo 2 graphically because of art direction.

You can make a very pretty game with run of the mill technology if your art direction is on point.

Some examples:

Soul Calibur series

SSBM

Ikaruga

DOA4’s being done off of xbox1’s hardware. The game was originally slated for release on the xbox1 shortly after the release of NG (Team Ninja themselves have stated this), but Microsoft asked Team Ninja to save the game as a launch title for Xbox360. Hence, the project has been sinced moved over to that system (Xbox360) & revamped to fit it’s standards. Similar to Perfect Dark Zero. The game’s a build off the original xbox’s technology which was later moved over & resurfaced on the Xbox360.

Link please? That would probably explain why PDZero looks and sounds like such crap:
