I’d have to see, but until then i disagree :rofl:. perhaps you’re hitting before they technically “bounce” up. spidey’s fierce leaves them in block stun until they bounce, perhaps you’re confusing “bounce” with “barely hitting the floor” or something

because of how IM’s neutral fierce hits, I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have rejump infinites like that…but being able to hit with the n.fierce ANYWHERE and combo into infinite near the ground is good enough :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: no you’re right, Commando doesn’t hit the ground in the vid.

However, I’m pretty sure he can hit the ground and there’s a just frame link where it will still combo. I’ll have to watch for the bounce blast animation when i hit training mode.

yeah, I see you edited, as I just looked at those times in the vid and didn’t see it. I was about to say perhaps the hit animation made it look that way to you, but you caught it.

Okay, I’m most likely completely wrong. Video captured the opposite of what I expected when i looked at it frame by frame. Beats you were absolutely right, everytime I thought I saw the red flash was after I missed by a hair the link for the rejump or juggle.

random setup: sj adf, sj.lp, sj.rh, land call tron, s.lk, s.rh, SJC ADF, sj.rh, land, s.rh, SJC adf, sj.rh.

Up till the last sj.rh, its a full combo. Its like 60% life or something like that. The last sj.rh crosses up and you can relayer tron and they’re dead after that.

ok, infinite break down so far

lets look @ wolvmasters setup since theres something I want to mention in it.

s.lp, s.mp, sj lk, sj mk, sj web ball, sj lk, sj mk, land,** njup.lp, njup.mk, njup.mp, njup.fp,** land {njup.lk, njup.mp, njup.mk, njup.fp}

brackets are the infinite

so in the bold text, this seems to be the ideal height for spidey to continue the infinite. From this rep, spidey is the furthers from mando vertically, then when you switch to the njup.lk rep, it actually starts to bring the opponent lower. The further vertically you are from the opponent, the more time you have to hit j.lk for the rejump.

My thoughts are that we should do 2 reps. One rep that keeps them high, 2nd rep brings them low and alternate between the 2.

The main problem is that this particular setup misses a bunch of other characters. Also, spidey is to far from the opponent to attempt a j.lp from my testing so there’s no ability to readjust the height. There’s gotta be another setup that leaves spidey closer so we can use j.lp to readjust the height.

There’s hella safety in this infinite as well. since spidey’s j.lk causes double action, he can block if he misses it or take offensive options. INF missed, call tron, adf etc…

lastly, if you do a few reps, then do njupfwd+inf, you can get the rep, force the bounce but spidey is left in a very weird spot. Looks tough for the opponent to deal with mixup from that position since he’s in BS spot for random hit boxes.

sorry i couldnt get it recorded, but i got 4 reps around the first time i started getting it.
i can tell you that there’s nothing wrong with the infinite itself.
what i posted was tried on many characters.
timing might be your problem.
truthfully, i dont even think you have to move u/f.
some characters have funny bodies…and with that said, you might have to tweak the timing of the combo and not the inputs.
you’re not going to get a j.lp to combo with the rest of the infinite because his j.lp hits downwards.
and you dont want that.
the same thing goes for tron…becuase she’s heavier than capcom, you have to slow the infinite down a lil more.

are you new to mvc2? it does not as far as everyone can tell

except sorta for that whole ROMing sentinel and then slight crossover where he can’t turn around and block (viscant was talking about it like in '04 at least…it could be from even earlier…and then josh360 and magnetro brought it up recently)
