They’ve both milk with water removed, but evaporated milk goes through a different process.

Evap milk is good in coffee but that’s about the only place I’d use it.
In the Philippines, we use it all the time, in all kinds of dishes/desserts.

I’ve never heard of putting it in coffee, though, but it sounds alright. Although it’s very distinct from condensed milk, it’s almost always bought and used together with it (as well as with all-purpose cream) for desserts.

Condensed milk on a snowball is godlike. My wife uses evap when she makes mac and chee. I hate it though. Mac and chee ain’t supposed to be runny and shit.
