I really like Cody, but I was wondering if someone more experienced would be able to tell me if he would actually help to cover some of Yang’s bad match-ups or not. If not Cody, who would you guys recommend?
Sagat is the perfect 2nd character imo.
Cody is ok. He does well vs honda and hawk and is evenish with gief.
I use both and find they compliment each other well. As otori said Cody does decently well against Yang’s bad match-ups - Gief, Honda, Hawk, Balrog and he’s good against Adon too. Yang is a lot better against zoners that Cody struggles with: Sagat, Seth, Dhalsim.
