It sold okay, given that it’s a new IP. It’s not surprising that over half of all copies of the game sold were in Japan, which was the only country the game had a real advertising budget.
Come on, don’t tell me that “it’s a new IP” is a serious risk, I don’t want that to be the status quo nowadays…
They’ll definitely introduce a F2P fighting game in 2014. I’m betting Capcom All-Stars. But I think they’ll approach us in some scumbag way. It’ll be like Tekken Revolution, but more greedy.
Not sure how that is a legit risk and not them just doin’ their job, making a game that just so happens to be what you described. Nothing about that sounds innovative or risky.
Then that’s your opinion and I can respect that, cuz Capcom aint did shit cool in my eyes, in about 5 or 6 years. True Honesty, they legitimately suck now.
Yeah, Capcom really knows how to deliver what the people want in Fightin’ games when it is a hard fact that each Street Fighter and crossover they’ve made has sold less than the game before it. They sure know how to deliver dem crossover and Street Fighter games to Shoryuken.com members. lol
It’s nothin’ to find me defendin’ alotta the shit Capcom has done in the past that had me in a minority, but when it’s time to be honest, Imma be honest. And Capcom aint shit right now, they are 90% short sighted-fuck ups and 10% actual gaming company that wants to make games people can enjoy. I understand them folks be a company but Ga’damn, don’t make “profit over product” be so obvious. At least pretend like you give a fuck about what you put out there.
