Just played SFV first time yesterday thanks to an early copy bought by a friend of mine. Well, we can earn fight money even skipping the ABC tutorial at the start. Seems I don’t even need to play online like muhfucker,so why spend money now for that? Eventually I’m gonna consider that for next seasons,just as a contribute to those Capcom homeless. Plus, since I’m one of those who didn’t play the beta I’m thirsty as fuck about this game and played last night for a couple of hours didn’t help. First time I can’t wait for the end of a weekend, so I think grind gonna be the natural result at least for me.

I thought someone said you could earn the story mode costumes without Zenny.

Yup @“DevilJin 01” all premium is zenny based. Story mode costumes aren’t premium though.
So alpha ryu story costume will be able to be bought with FM after completion of his story mode, but bearded ryu is his premium, only available with zenny (or real money) that is at least how I read it.

Since I got the PC version at a discount. I snag the Season Pass on PC. I’m not grinding on both platforms.
I always say I won’t, but with work, wife and kid… I always fall short of grinding to get stuff… Will probably get owned by a dlc character and I’ll cave haha… Hopefully steam/psn sales by then
Do you have a link or anything that mentions what’s premium or not, or how the exact values for fight money and stuff work? I’d love to read up on this a bit.
I’ll have at most 5 hours a week to play the game so the season pass was a must buy since I really want Guile.
It also save you from grinding, make easier buy other stuff with FM and you’re supporting the game wich mean higher chance to get quality stuff in future
I may buy the second season pass if I like the characters enough. I’ll probably need a year to just rack up fight money.
got it from GreenManGaming for $24. i wasn’t planning on getting it so soon but that’s cheap enough for me. i don’t see myself playing the hell out of this game every single day so might as well get it.
The season pass has already lost value. The fact that you can get 160k fight money right off the bat with minimal effort makes it so. That’s one character and a half right there. Everyone who didn’t buy the season pass will be getting Alex for free at least. Plus when story mode comes out, I’m sure that’s gonna be at least 100k fight money so we’re talking around 300k fight money being handed to you very easily at the end of the day.

Help me understand something. I purchased the season pass because it says you get the 6 additional characters. I put in the code and all I see are themes and avatars, nothing else to download…
Bruh, the 6 characters haven’t been released yet. You will get them as they come, first of which is Alex next month.
