Do you plan on buying the Season Pass?

They just don’t have the opportunity to buy Season 2 Which sucks, but they didn’t steal anyones money. Season 1 is available for PC.

Definitely a bit of exaggeration going on, but NRS are still some fucking dbags and shouldn’t give those guys anymore money IMO.

Here’s some extra info for people on the fence about buying the SFV Season Pass or just going for the grind.

*Dahlgren: In the beginning there’s definitely a large influx of fight money through all of the single-player content. It should be relatively easy for players to earn a new character in that first month.

In the long term, it depends on the player’s skill, but we’re trying to make a system that’s fair and balanced to reward players of all types. We don’t want to make it too grind-heavy on top of that. That’s part of the reason we developed the daily challenges. It’s supposed to be about remaining engaged.

If you log in on a daily basis, or every other day, and complete the challenges, you should be able to get the new characters as they come out.*

I say that means family men can get this done. Go Family Men.

Bought a brand new TV, the collector’s edition guide, 2 new fightpads. I think I won’t even notice the 30 euro season pass.
So why not

If i can grind out out clash of clans for years with only spending 10 bucks, I think I can ‘grind’ out DLC. It won’t be hard guys, come on

Fight money … How to earn them? Just playing online? I generally spend a lot of time practicing combos in training room. Does this mean I won’t earn anything?
Limiting earnings just to online matches seems to be limitative to me.

The devs have said plenty of times that you can earn fight money through single player play. They don’t want online/competitive play to be the only way to earn it. They’ll most likely have single player and multiplayer daily challenges.

i dont pay for free stuff.

Honestly… I agree with Cestus. If the grinding only went on for a little while for the sake of like a Ken alternate or something, then why not, but this is six characters and costumes, so I can only imagine what a ridiculous amount they want you to save up.

I’ll be grinding. Gives me more incentive to play online and better myself. Some characters though, like Alex, I will probably buy.

Grind for me.
But what i saw in the video showing all the modes worries me a bit.
I mean, you have to grind modes only to unlock coloros in the store and THEN buy them with fighting money.

I got season pass cause im a consumer whore.

Fixed it for you, you kind man you.

Pretty much this at this point. I’ll be playing a LOT, so I’ll just buy the characters with FM, but if I don’t have the FM for Alex/Urien/Guile when they come out, I’ll buy them straight up.

Probably not, depends on how much FM you will need for each purchase.

Actually I’ll buy the pass when I get another 27-30% off at GMG ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just wonder what Ganons up to.

I just wonder how much fight money is a dlc character going to cost. At the end of the beta I had like 22 grand. For some reason I think that won’t be enough.

I’ll buy them individually. I don’t know what the future holds and I hate commitments. I like the freedom to buy what I want when I want even if it comes at a higher cost. That’s just how I roll.

Season passes just put a bad feeling in my stomach. Sort of remind me of phone plans you’re stuck into for years (albeit nowhere near as bad).

I might buy season 2 for supporting Capcom (or if grinding is harder than expected), but now I just want to enjoy the old school feeling of unlocking stuff by just playing the game.

I’ll probably grind it out that way I can play those 200 matches and hopefully improve over time. Lol, but it depends if the characters I want is in the next DLC, I might just upright buy it.

Yeah, there’s also this. I’m probably never getting anything full price.
