I find that skinny/thin/slender vs. fat/thick/curvy is a false dichotomy of the highest order. Most conversations (in the larger, social sense of the word) tend to be hijacked by very small, very loud extremist groups, and that goes for body types.
The conversation regarding women who are “thick” and “curvy” has been hijacked by fat acceptance advocates who hypnotize themselves into thinking that it’s okay to wear a bikini when you have a gut that looks like a beanbag chair. It’s also been grabbed onto by hip-hop models who have ludicrously oversize asses but are otherwise as thin as any other model. “Thick” and “curvy” are terms that were originally coined to single out women who are fat in a positive, shapely way. I find that those terms have lost their usefulness from being applied too broadly.
Likewise, the conversation regarding women who are “thin”, “slender”, “skinny” and so forth has been controlled fairly efficiently by men’s interest magazines and clothing companies, which do tend to go almost exclusively for the hard, toned body type. But many women who are just as thin and maybe even put in just as much effort to maintain their weight level end up looking nothing like the models in the magazines. That can be good or bad.
The fact of the matter is that all women must carry what they have, whatever that is. Some of them do it very well, while some don’t. Some skinny girls look very feminine, while others look like a cross between an ironing board and a xylophone. Some heavy girls have the beanbag chair look, while others can work with the extra padding in the hourglass regions and maybe even a modest gut. I doubt there is a meaningful correlation between attractive/unattractive and fat/skinny. As far as attractiveness goes, fat and skinny don’t have a linear relationship.

Bony girls, and just bony people in general, make me very uncomfortable. I like a girl when she has some meat on her, and I don’t mean fat. IMO, men should be larger than women. If shes larger around than you are then either your deathly sick or shes fat as hell. Women thin but toned with muscle is what I like.
