I was looking at the cheap system selector that ebgames sells, since I’ve got a group of systems now. It is an extra step though between the maching and tv and I’m worried it will lag.
anyone own one and like it? any reccomendations on what to buy?

It shouldn’t have any effect, it’s just a bridger for the video signal…might check the HDTV lag issues thread just in case, but on a standard TV, should be fine

It shouldn’t. I have an HDMI selector, and that thing fucks up my signals though. Its like you can’t just flip from my DVR box to my PS3, I guess because they both have to calibrate with the TV or something. It was kind of a useless purchase for me. Even if I power off while switching on the box, it doesn’t work right.
But yeah, regular old AV cables shouldn’t lag, I use them for tourney setups when we have to switch consoles in a hurry.
