Do any big retailers sell sticks?

I don’t need anything fancy, and I’d rather not buy anything online unless I have to, just need something to work for my ps3
So I was wondering if best buy or even something like gamestop might have a stick, anyone know?
also sorry if this is in the wrong forum i dunno where to put it

gamestop and bestbuy might have the Hori SC4 sticks.

Check out the thread on the MadCatz SFIV sticks. Gamestop, Amazon, Best Buy (online), and maybe others will be carrying them, but if you want to buy in an actual B&M store, Gamestop might be the only choice.

You may have to pre-order though, especially if you want the pro stick with arcade-quality parts.

looks like a solid stick and hori seems to ahve a good rep here

I wouldn’t describe that as solid personally. Arcade parts or bust.

Fairly easy to mod, though. Moderate soldering involved, so be warned if you wanna try it. :looney:

i don’t plan to mod anything… should i still get this stick?
i wont have to mod anything to get this to work for my ps3 right?

It will work fine on your PS3. If you’re new to arcade sticks then you won’t think it feels crappy or anything. If you’re used to Sanwas and Seimitsus it make take a while to get used to.

It’s a fine stick, and for its price, its great.

And if you somehow decide to mod it in the future, it’s relatively easy to do so.
