Super Street Fighter IV already has a huge cast of characters, with some going back as far as the original Street Fighter game. Although it would seem unreasonable to add more characters, considering that Super IV will be the last ‘IV’ game (if Ono is to be believed) and the huge demand by fans for additional characters to be thrown in the mix, providing them through DLC does not seem too far-fetched an idea.
Anyway, if I were in charge of picking five characters for Super Street Fighter IV character DLC, these would be my picks:

[]Karin (Street Fighter Alpha 3): Her fighting style is similar to Fei’s, but I’d say it’s diverse enough for her to earn a spot in Super IV’s roster and her design is too much to just leave at one game.
[]Eagle (Street Fighter): Maybe he’s had his time in the light with CvS2 and Alpha 3 MAX, though I still he think he could bring in a lot more diversity to the cast with his unique fighting style and moves.
[]**Rolento **(Final Fight): Rolento was the best character in Alpha to break other player’s guards, so he would be a shoe-in to break through hyper armor. This game needs more weapons, if you ask me.
[]Yun (Street Fighter III): He and his brother Yang were in Chun’s prologue for the original Street Fighter IV, and seeing as Adon eventually made it in (shown in Sagat’s prologue), it would make sense for one of the twins to make it in as well. Rufus and Gen share many of his aspects gameplay-wise, and they would also have to take away or nerf Genei-Jin to include him.
[*]Q (Super Street Fighter II): He was on the boat in SF2, and is the only character from II that is missing in IV. His clumsy style of fighting and shenanigans would make him a fun and interesting character to play.

If any of those don’t do make it in the speculative DLC, I wouldn’t mind seeing Maki, Elena, Alex, or Birdie either…they’re cool in my books :tup: .

Mike Haggar…seriously, he’s the only orignal Final Fight hero not seen in a SF game. Just as long as he’s not just a clone of Zangief. Aside from that, would love to see (on a similar Final Fight kick) Maki…three ninjas in one game=AWESOME!!! lol

Yun and/or Yang. Yun can be somewhat like he was in Capcom vs SNK 2. Yang as somewhat of an assist. One ultra can use the one with Yang. If Genei Jin is going to be in here it shouldn’t be broken, but what more can you ask for in damage scaling? I’m somewhat surprised that Yun wasn’t really wanted that much since he was featured in other games too like Alpha 3, CVS2, Capcom Fighting Evolution. I’m just saying he was featured more than any other 3S character I know of.

Necro. A new character. Oro.
Urien would be cool, but I just can’t see him playing like Urien. Although I guess “guy who looks like Urien and has Urien’s moves but plays completely different” would still be a cool character, much like SFIV Gen was completely different to alpha Gen, but was still a cool character.
I’d also suggest Remy and Eagle, but I know they’re not going to happen.
