Karin first and foremost.
She is fun, has a friendship with Ken and the true Sakura rival. Plus she was top tier in CFJ and decent in Alpha 3 so there. I was surprised she wasn’t revealed in the first batch for the newcomers for SSF4.
Eagle deserves more love. His rendition in CvS2 had potential and I respected his design from SF1. More spotlight for Eagle may create a decent fanbase.
And from SF3 either Elena or Twelve. No Hugo. I love Hugo but this game is plagued wih grapplers already so a big no to Hugo, Birdie, etc…
If a new character, then I’m all up for Poison. This bitch has always been popular since the Final Fight arcade days and a full rep in SF would be nice to see. I can imagine her Ultras already. :razz:
Whoa on the twitter post! I figured DLC characters were a no-go based on past Capcom statements on the topic. So, with the inkling of a rumor in place, here’s my preference:
- Charge character
- A character who hasn’t been featured in many SF games previously
- URIEN.
- Q.

This isn’t really an issue. The best way to avoid splitting the player base is to just make the DLC characters a locked mandatory patch. Pay to unlock and use, but downloading them to the HD would be mandatory for everyone online.
El Fuerte = Skullomania …maybe not! but still WACKY MOVES!!!
How about Lee or Retsu from Street Fighter 1? or bring back Joe the American street fighter (who didn’t seem to have any special moves escept that weird flying backwards kick thing) who originally punched out the wall, which they got Cody doing now on his intro though…
or make up 2 completely NEW characters 
He’s kinda a non-charge mix of Blanka and Bison with some extra stuff thrown in. Not much in common with Fuerte other than the dash and some similarities in backstory… which is totally awesome, by the way. :razz:

Thought up some stuff for Karin if she does ever come as a DLC character :
Change Arakuma Inashi (a.k.a Karin’s Command Grab) into a HCB movement instead of a full 360 Motion.
EX Inashi can go into Gureken (QCF+P move)
Hosho (DP+P move) is Armor-Breaking move
EX Gureken has Armor
EX Mujinkyaku (DP+K Move) has Juggle Potential
EX Hosho has Juggle Potential
EX Yasha Counter (QCB+P/K Move) Has Juggle Potential
Super - Kouoken (2xQCF+K motion)
Super can be comboed off of from Gurenken xx Mujinkyaku xx Super
or
Yasha Counter xx Super
Ultra I - Shinpu Kaibyaku (2x QCF+P motion)
Ultra II - Custom Combo similar to SFA2 Custom Combo, so it won’t be as broken as the SFA3 Custom Combo

God if they add karin id rage quit from ssf4, i mean shes less dumb than sakura but honestly why do we need more school girls? We want unique characters in terms of play style and character type.
I’m with you, which is why they should add Rolento seeing as he’s pretty unique, is badass, and hangs people with an actual move. Win.
All of the suggestions made here are pretty good. I’d be happy with either Karin or Rolento… maybe Elena or Q.
Personally I would be amazed if Karin got put up as DLC.
