DIY: Nintendo 64 power supply?

I just bought a N64 without the external power supply for about US$4, wich I think was a real steal. But the problem is that, here, N64 power supplies can cost up to US$25 so I need another option.

I remember reading long time ago about doing your own N64 power supply using a PC PSU, but now I can’t seem to find that site, maybe it went down and someone here knows how it’s done. Please, if you know, share your knowledge and help a bro play Mario Kart

Thanks in advance :wgrin:

I’m not sure how much that’s going to help you with no real good indicator of pin one on the pinout, but I imagine with some clever multimeter kung fu, you can figure it out.
