I really do hope they release this for the masses. I seriously would love some divekick action. Throw in GGPO and we can play this game online all the time.

That’s weird though, because I swear I saw them jump backwards (at a trajectory much higher than the one someone linked to Kick doing) without kicking first. Maybe there’s a bigger window to dive after the kick hits the ground to get that backwards boost, if diving is even the way to get it. WE GOT THEORY FIGHTING ALREADY.
You probably just hit the kick button while you’re already on the ground to get the backwards dive.
I’m not calling it a backdash, because dashes are for those inferior martial arts.
Maybe pressing dive and kick at the same time while grounded works as well?
Yup. The kick happens so fast that the human eye cannot see it.
Can you Divekick a wall to travel at 135 degree angle?

A divekick is the best punish for a wiffed divekick. Or as one of our testers would say “use that counter kick”
