I remember seeing that exdeath wasn’t the same anymore but hopefully emperor will be about the same as before or maybe gabranth will be added later.

He doesn’t really seem like the same character anymore.
He has the the HP attack and teleport but doesn’t seem to be focused on counters anymore.
Sort of? It’s less that they’re super modes and more that they are passive buffs, like in a MOBA if you’ve played any. They build up over time and have various impacts
Kefka’s Heartless Angel is a giant aoe that heaps stupid amounts of debuffs(more depending on how long you channel) on anyone caught inside
Sephiroth’s is an AoE field that slows anyone caught inside.
Ramza’s is a big ass buff that makes him like Gabranth in that he can charge it, but can also choose to buff allies instead
Ah, that’s probably better for the game. Exdeath was too good in the first Dissidia; counters in general were too strong, especially shit like Firion’s Shield Bash counter.

I’m sort of interested but also like… not totally sure? The air-runniness of it is really bizarre, and the arenas look really bland. I’m pretty conflicted. It’s a very strange looking game.
The first two were a fucking BLAST to play. It’s a Final Fantasy fan’s wet dream. Seriously. That said, I also don’t think they’re worth taking too seriously because there just isn’t a lot of long-term depth in them. They’re really easy to play and there’s just not a ton of room for creativity.
