obviously they should head down the new jedi order route, but i feel like they need to have SOME setup involved where they retake the core worlds because until that happens the galactic civil war is still in full swing and luke doesn’t actually leave to track down potential students and set up his school at Yavin 4 for some time.
movie 7 could easily be that transition where they clamp down the civil war… obviously some other nifty things go down between them but imo you could condense the conclusion to the war into 1 movie, i always thought grand admiral thrawn was a awesome character… empires greatest/brightest general only ever had 1 problem, he was an alien and that got him sent off on a assignment to the outer territories.
oh and in looking up the name of that grand admiral i ran into information about a potential new installment to the x-wing series (best book series ever! the jedi can suck it… i want to read about wedge antilles and other fighter pilots yo!)

i hate you… you have made me so sad. the conquest of coruscant is written so well though, you have rogue squadron infiltrated on the ground to attempt to take down the planetary shields (which they do but only because one of the pilots steals a tie interceptor and goes on a kamikaze mission for the last shield relay station). then you have the rebel fleet manage to get a single imperial interdictor cruisor to defect… it fly’s into the planetary orbit and then uses it’s interdiction field to pull the rebel fleet out of hyperspace directly above the planet and INSIDE the planets defense network… just gonna calm down my nerdgasm here

The Producers pretty much asked for what Iron Man Armored Adventures became but with Batman (and you know…not CG). Stupid idea with witty creators can go well.

The concept art that you are talking about, if is the one that i think it is, came after “The Batman”, but, it is true that Batman Beyond came after the headups asked for a batman in highschool, the funny thing is that they also where very wary of the idea, so that is why they introduced a new batman altogether
