Black guy is John Boyega, ie the cool main dude from Attack the Block so he is defo gonna be a good guy and given his already formidable skill with the sword, most likely a force sensitive / padawan. Luke Skywalker did the whole ‘pretend to be a trooper’ thing before becoming a Jedi as well, so its probably homage to that.

from the summary ive heard, he doesnt sound like he’s alot in the film. Like the plot revolves around his struggles with dark and light but seems like the focus will be around the darkside and the rebel forces trying to lure him to their sides.
