Hey, what else was I supposed to name the thread? I wanted to talk about all fighting games in general, and well…can’t think of a better name for the thread so…
And yeah, I posted it on GFaqs too, just to see what their opinions were, though as with here and other forums, it more went around ST when I was hoping to hear about other FGs in general. Must’ve been the way I came out in the first post. ^^;
And after playing some more ST today and paying attention for once, it’s not that bad (save for the AI of course. Damn them and their reversals…><). And yeah, NOW I see that there is no infinite blockstun due to that. Thanks a lot AI >>
But yeah, after playing 3S and CvS2 after ST, I’m not sure which game has the more strict input between CvS2 and ST (of course, I’m going with ST in this case, but that’s more due to me not being used to it still).
ST is probably the most Match up dependent fighting game at the moment. It’s definately NOT balanced because some characters have some very very terrible match ups. Just take a look at a match up chart and you’ll see what I mean.
Also tick throws and throw loops can be very frustrating for some characters because they don’t have a good reversal move, so those are at an disadvantage in some match ups.
Most balanced games are A3,GG and HNK imo. Dunno if I need to explain why 
Well, A3 is as balanced as you can make it though, after seeing the horrors that is V-Ism. lol

God I love that shit. I don’t even play the game, but I love watching match vids where somebody fucks up at the very beginning of the match and 60 seconds later it’s a 100 hit combo into FATAL KO. You need fuckin nerves of steel to play that game.
I guess ST is kind of the same way. Me and my friends have always joked that you get basically get three mistakes in a game of ST between good players. After playing the game for so long I’d say a lot of the time it’s more like two.
