Although, it’s just me getting absolutey wrecked by one of the better Cody’s in SFL. Beware, this video is terri - baaaaaaaaaaad.

My only question is, wtf can I do in the corner when my opponent is 2-3 character distances away? He was practically baiting out counter hits, and I had no answer for Cody’s standing LK pokes. I really struggle against characters with solid zoning games (ie. Juri/Chun/Cody) and I’m at a serious loss whenever someone decides to pressure with pokes instead of getting in my face.

in the match i didnt use any hitconfirm combos because i know i will get some random elec
also i tried to rush down and it looks like it puts blanka in a bad sitiuation but when i gave him the space at the end of the match i ate some damage

Nice video, but why dont you follow your combos with EX mgb instead of ducking upper? Its really worth it to save for super considering the damage you loose (specially if you corner them) ?
nice dudley, I checked your other vids too, talk about putting on pressure. I’m a newbie to dudley myself so I’m no near as good as you those vids but it’s great to see how much potential dudley has when in the right hands
as for the blanka i didnt want to do hit confirms “spam elec like most blanka” and at the same time i dont want to get punished if i missed EX MGB if u check the other vids u can see that i always do hit confirm and EX MGB thx anyway ^^
dudley corner game is really something u should always try to push them to it and keep pressure from there thx also ^^

Dudley Flowers gets punished by vicious C. Viper (vids with commentary)
Two vids I hope you will all look at. The first one I manage to scratch out a few wins in ranked but in the 2nd one I get smacked so hard I lose the will to try to do anything like walk, throw, poke, combo, focus attack. I’m just completely smashed, free and an open page for the viper player to smear anyway she likes. I really need help you guys. I don’t know where else to turn… :crybaby:

Ive watched the c.viper one. You need to block a lot more, you were eating soooo much unnecesary damage. Also, you should punish mistakes with the best damaging combos if possible. Other than that, you couldnt really play dudley game because you were dominated so hard, but I really feel you could win that if you just blocked and waited for an opening, you need to be a lot more patient while playing dudley.
hey guys i got a new dhalsim vid it was a normal match testing things on dhalsim one of the main things is that RH “HK” can win many long sim pokes including his HP so a RH buffered into ex mgb means a good dmg and a knock down its worth but at the same time u should do the timing very well any comments are welcomed ^^

Just a few things that I have noticed from these videos:
It does look like you are EX cross countering too much. I was doing EX CC into U2 a shitload as well once I got the timing down on it, but unless they are within kill range from that last bit of damage, I think it is worth saving the ultra and the meter. Subsequently, if you are saving your ultra outside of EX CC, then you should just be using normal cross counters most of the time. Saving the meter for super, EX MGB combos, or EX JU xx FADC -> U2 will be much more impactful, and normal CC still does good damage and has the same amount of start up frames across the board. The only matches I tend to use EX CC heavily in are against very low health characters. Viper is definitely a match where EX CC into U2 is a good play at any point in the match.
You let too many people jump in on you for free. I did not see a lot of standing MK. This move is so insanely good, I think it is worth keeping at the ready at all times, since it really does stuff or trade with everything. I think I only saw you use it a handful of times in all those matches. It can stuff Vipers burn kicks if spaced right as well which makes it a very important move in that match up.
For a viper specific tactic that I don’t think I saw you doing: When you are at full screen from viper and she is standing around feinting/siesmo, keep EX MGB at the ready. When you see her flash her hands up, just let it fly, unless they are trying to bait out the MGB and does a close range seismo to catch it, they take a full MGB combo to the face.
