Right now all they have is 360’s and 1 PS3 avaible for use. Now you can bring any fighter you want and if you want to bring set-ups you can. The more people they see show up to fight nights the more you will start seeing PS3’s with SF4,BlazBlu,and T6(when released) at the store. They are very willing to purchase the system with these games but only if they see enough interest at the fight nights. If this happens it will be a whole lot easier for tourneys to run and eventually all players would have to bring is their sticks/controllers.
GET HYPE!!!
Just so you know they also offer PC games you can play all day but they are a different price then the fighting games. Please check out the site for more info.
Hey steve check the site for more info on the PC games for the day. I will try and talk to him about it more but it would seem there phones have been disconnected so I will get back to you.
Thanks! I already tried checking around and it was a bit too cyrptic to understand some of the deals. I’ll most likely be heading down there first chance/first night I get off anyhow so I’ll ask them in person if it doesn’t get solved by then.
I’ll probly be going to that one. If not too many head’s show up for SF4/I get salty from wasting so many turns I can hop on the good ol’ pc and play some of that quake 3/CSS/TF2/TFC
That’s great man thx for the support I am hoping to make this the next big venue since there really isn’t too much around the CT area for spots to have fight nights.
It sucks bc we had 3 arcades and one by one they all just closed down, there are a lot of ppl but there’s no designated area and when someone plans somethin, ppl are busy. I don’t get out of work til 830p so it would only be casual for me, and that’s if I can make it.
Well spread the word about these and people should eventually go. I would like this to be the official spot for the CT fighting game scene. There are rewards if alot of people start showing up like DM buying games and systems. If they were able to get them it would be great practice for everybody and tourneys would be run alot smoother. You also have some of MA going like springfield and since GU is out of business then it would seem to be the best option for them to go. It’s probably going to start off slow but give it time and more people will start showing up. I want to see this get big but it’s really up to the community to do it’s part also.
Same here down in Springfield. There was the eastfield mall arcade closing, then the holyoke mall arcade closed down. Didn’t matter too much though since we all loved TGA 500x more than those combined, but problems arose and TGA closed down too. Breaks my heart.
