Anyone who has had the misery of playing this game all the way through should be able to cope with my pain. This game to me is the epitome of “I don’t want to fucking play this anymore, but if I don’t go all the way, it will haunt me”. Anyone else care to share their ideas on it? Tiers, personal stories, whatever, it’s all good here.

Digimon World 2 was the best of the series.
It was fun up until I realized how fucked up some of the mazes were going to get. If it wasn’t for my lucky metal greymon catch, I probably would’ve quit the game by the time you needed to collect the first three color keys.
And fuck every bastard that designed the Terra maze.

or are we talking about digimon rumble arena 2, which i’ve been hunting to find a copy for like a year lol.
The toy plane in the dungeon he is in is specifically for using it on him.

And yeah, I realized the toy plane was for him eventually, but still, FUCK THAT GAME.
I actually liked DW2, but…the fucked up long ass mazes do tend to kill it.
Word of advice for easier playthrough-
Get Kuwagamon
Digivolve to Okuwamon
DNA Digivolve it with Soulmon, or any Digimon that has that MP sucking assist
i played it for a few hours when it first came out and was like wtf is this? the first one is WAY better than dw2. shit gives u a headache just walking threw that maze for a little…
I just couldn’t finish the game.
I remember when I was younger I would map out where to get which Digimon and how I would DNA digivolve them to get good results and all that stuff. But those damn super long fighting animations and whatnot killed it for me. I couldn’t stand sitting around for 5mins. a fight.

If you want a better faster play, I suggest using an emulator >o>
